Advantages: shiny, full of volume curls! Disadvantages: Still time consuming!
I used these a few weeks ago at my friend's house and I was really impressed!
When I go out to a wedding or a big occasion I like to spend some time getting ready and making my hair look nice. I have tried using curling tongs and GHDs to curl my hair but i'm always getting it uneven or burning myself or I get half way throguh and decide i'm fed up!!

Advantages: It's a beutiful and tragic story, your constantly feeling sympathy towards her and feel lucky that you weren't brought up like that. Disadvantages: It's makes you feel really down although it is very interesting.
This book was one of the best I have ever come across.
It is Adeline Yen Mah's tragic life, her very sad biography, how she was bought up to feel like she had no existence and very unwanted.
The story starts off by telling us about Adelin's birth, born the fifth child to an affluent Chinese family her life begins tragically. Adeline?s mother died shortly after her birth due to complications bought on by the delivery, and in Chinese culture this marks her as cursed or ?bad luck?.
This situation is enforced on her so much that when her father?s new marriage took place to a lady who has little affection for her husband?s five children. I finished reading the Blind Assassin last night and ran to my computer to review it as I found it moving and a fab read and really wanted to share my thoughts with you all.
45 minutes of careful typing away and what do I do, hit the back button! My cry of anguish echoed loud enough to bring Mr running in from the other room, he was sympathetic but gave me the now immortal advice of why didn't you write it in a word document first? Doh? so Im now doing just that.
Background
I picked up the Blind Assassin to read because it was on my list of Booker prize award winners. In fact Margaret Atwood won it in 2000.
I had never read any of her other books so came to the Blind Assassin completely blind as such with no preconceptions at all.
From starting to read the book I quickly felt intrigued and compelled to know more ...
