Cat Litter

AdvantagesInteresting idea

DisadvantagesBadly executed | Frustrating | High luck factor

"Sega had Sonic. Nintendo has Mario. Microsoft has Blinx. Every console needs a mascot and Microsoft have decided to plump for a time sweeping cat to do the business as it is hoped that this game will serve as a stepping stone to a lucrative series to entice gamers to the XBox. Looking at him it’s hard to imagine just why Microsoft wanted him as a mascot. A cat, well fair enough if a hedgehog can do it so can a cat, but a cat with bright orange fur ..." Read review

why should you buy blinx

AdvantagesSteps into a range of new ideas.

DisadvantagesA bit kiddy and is very hard at times.

"Time is the fourth dimension and Blinx has it at his command. Using a wide range of sweepers and your ability to control time your job is to clear levels of time monsters and collect the hidden cat medals. Blinx, with his sly grin and sweeper that can suck up anything lying around can pulverize anything that comes his way. Your ultimate goal is to clear every level of every monster and defeat an evil gang of pigs (literally pigs) and rescue the ..." Read review

Master of time.

AdvantagesInnovative ideas. Nice graphics.

DisadvantagesPoorly implemented ideas, sluggish gameplay.

"Xbox as relatively little in the way of platforming games, so when blinx was announced, platform fans went crazy at the concept of being able to control time to solve puzzles and defeat enemies. It seemed to offer something unique that was only possible on xbox. So. how did it turn out? Was it the smash hit everyone hoped for, or should it have been left back in time? Well, it sort of falls between the two actually. The time manipulation ..." Read review

Blinx and you'll miss it!

AdvantagesGreat thinking cartoony game!

DisadvantagesCan't find all those cat masks!!

"I loved Blinx! It is a little cartoony which I like and makes you think about your next move! You have to do things in a particular order to help you through the level in the set time frame by collecting pause, rewind, fast forward and play tokens as you go on your merry way. You are Blinx, the cat who controls time and with your magic vacuum cleaner you suck up the required tokens in order to carry out the acyion required. Brain teasing and a ..." Read review

Blinx: The Time Sweeper (Xbox)

Advantagesgraphics, funny

Disadvantagesnon

"Blinx is not like your typical 3D action/adventure. The levels are structured much differently than you'd expect, starting with a stage that's set up like an old town, filled with houses and other old buildings. This stage is fairly narrow and very linear -- other than the hidden items, there is only one goal: go from point A to point B, and kill all of the enemies along the way. That is essentially the goal you'll have throughout the entire game. To ..." Read review
