Advantages: A good quality product that is durable. Disadvantages: None.
Rubber gloves are not on my list of favourite things to buy, I rarely wear them for anything else other cleaning drains or unblocking sink traps.
But saying that I always keep a pair in my cupboard for dealing with those unforeseen emergencies.
Getting the right type of rubber gloves can be tricky, some are so flimsy that they tear on their first outing, others can be so thick that you cannot feel your fingers and if you manage to buy the right size first time around then you are a far better woman than I am.
The cheap rubber gloves are very hit and miss, they invariably have no lining and will end up damaging the skin on your hands. I find that the supermarket own brands often make my hands sweat so when I take the glove off my skin looks wrinklier than ever.
Pay a little more for a pair of rubber gloves and you seem to get ...

Advantages: Softens feet, exfoliates without scrubbing, softens hard skin Disadvantages: Very Expensive
Bliss is one of those brands constantly hyped up in beauty magazines, so as you can imagine, I was desperate to try them! Foot Patrol was one product that I was really keen to try as I tend to suffer from very dry and cracked feet with lots of hard skin on the soles.
Foot Patrol contains 10% salicyclic acid which helps to exfoliate away dead skin, as well as containing lots of softening oils to make your feet super soft, peppermint to soothe aching feet and aloe to destress. Packaging, as with all Bliss products, is functional, with a flip top lid and the standard turquoise blue colour scheme.
You only need a small amount to rub into each foot, about the size of two peas ...
