The famous Bliss body butter formula, now comes unscented, so you can mix it with any ... more
fragrance you fancy. Enriched with antioxidants, skin conditioners and Vitamins A & E to combat free-radicals. Bliss Naked Body Butter also contains moisturising ...
Advantages: Gives you gorgeously soft, smooth skin and smells lovely Disadvantages: Price!
I bought this last year after reading all the hype about it in magazines and on the Bliss website and deciding I had to see for myself if it's as good as everyone says it is! It costs £23 for a 250ml tube from the website or Bliss salons, and you can also now buy it from some Boots stores and their website.
They say that this fabulous, fresh-citrus scented dry body drenching butter is so incredibly effective that a single squeeze can make rough and scaly skin 'history'. With antioxidant vitamins A and E, sodium hyaluronate (a powerful oil-free moisture magnet) and arnica extract.
It comes in a bright blue tube with a white flip lid that it stands on. The bodybutter is white and it has a sweet but subtle lemon scent. The texture is quite thin for a bodybutter, and it's extremely smooth. When you first apply it to skin it feels ...
Advantages: Really hydrating, nice smell, leaves skin moisturised for ages Disadvantages: Hard to rub in, expensive!
realise it is an expensive brand that it starts to seem better. This bodybutter comes in a normal shape squeezy bottle with the lid at the bottom. It is a bright mid blue bottle with ?lemon and sage? in yellow writing and ?bodybutter? in bigger writing beneath it. The Bliss logo is also at the top of the bottle. Beneath the writing there is a cartoon style picture of a lemon. The bottle is fun but it just doesn?t look great quality. I?m not saying that designer packaging has to be classic and boring, but this just looks cheap. Anyway?
The BodyButter?
The bodybutter is a cream colour and the smell is as I imagined. To be honest I wasn?t to keen on the sound of ?lemon and sage? but it is actually really pleasant and smells more like just lemon. It actually does smell of real lemons as well, rather than an artificial smell. I was ...
Advantages: Fabulous moisturising effects Disadvantages: Price; personally I don't love the smell
One of the treats I received in my recent Christmas present to myself, a Bliss sample set, was the Lemon and Sage BodyButter. I'd heard great things about the Blissbodybutters and this was my 'most wanted' on the Bliss product range, being one of their best selling products.
Packaging wise, this is on the dull side (as I think all Bliss products are!) - a turquoise squeezy bottle with a white flip top lid. Even a picture of a lemon on it doesn't really do much to spice it up - the packaging is functional but lacking the fun that really makes something stand out.
These are rated by beauty magazines as the top bodybutter around and at £23 for a 125ml bottle, they'd have to be in my opinion! When you squeeze it into your hands though you can feel it's a quality product - it feels very rich, far more like a butter than lots ...
