Advantages Tingling on the lips & Price

Disadvantages Does not absorb and it sits on the lips.

I always seem to have some sort of story behind my product purchases and this is no different. So, my trustee Blistex Relief Cream was running dangerously low and after YouTube'ing around I decided to opt for this product as it was this girl's HG product and she simply could not be without it, which was intriguing to say the least. This resulted in me picking this up from Boots for only £2.50! And I was not particularly worried if I were to not like it because c'mon it's £2.50!! :D

Packaging:
It is in a royal/navy blue tub with the name on the top in red writing and a rather odd looking swirl, which I imagine it to be some sort of 'vapour' (:/). When you open the screw top lid the plastic on the tub seemed to have been scraped by the twisting and turning of the lid- I was not impressed at this point. And also, this may not be appealing to people who do not like using tubs or Vaseline pots as it is quite unsanitary but it did not bother me to be honest as I am religious user of Vaseline :D In addition, the little tub is full with product which will last you a very long time.

Product:
The product itself is of a yellow, thick consistency however it is quite creamy at the same time. That being said this does not absorb into the lips and it sits on top, which I do not particularly like. This tingles and has a cooling sensation which I can only describe as vicks and I absolutely love it! Some people may not, but this is right up my alley. But be warned that wipe your fingers after you use it because you do not want to accidently rub your eye and have a watery/stinging eye for at least 5 minutes which I can tell you is not a pleasant experience. However, you really do not need a lot of product as it is quite creamy and it smooths onto your lips like a dream and it does provide a bit of gloss so for those who like a lip balm which is matte and sinks into your lips I am sorry but this is not for you. But this does work even though it does not particularly absorb, which I find odd. Try not to apply to much product because it can gather up in the corners of your mouth- but it does not form that white line which I am grateful for because accidents do happen and you tend to scoop up a lot more product :D

Verdict:
For £2.50 a pop this is a product that will last you at least 2 months which is great value for money. However, although I love the tingly sensation and it makes my lips smooth, this I think would not work for people with overly chapped/cracked/dry lips but will work for those who need a bit more moisturising than the average lip balm (e.g. Vaseline (not hating). :D This can be bought in Boots/Superdug/Chemists/Tescos and all that jazz.

Hope you found this helpful! :D
