...graphics are superb. They require a relatively high specification - lowering the detailed texture levels and antilaising however should improve frame rates for lower spec. PC's.
The expansion packs provide more campaign missions from different factions such as the Barbarians - they could be classed as seperate games if not dependant on the origianl Rome:Total war game....

Advantages: Fun for a few weeks and the multiplayer is great. This is a much improved version of the original and the graphics are much better. Isometric 2D gameplay has been pushed to the limits with this one. Disadvantages: NO STRATEGY IN A STRATEGY GAME. The soundtracks could be improved and the SEALS arent a permanent character.
...I was under the impression that i could handle strategy games. I could for about 7 missions on each side, allied and Soviet. Unfortunately i then lost my "cool" and screwed up, that is why my room has broken glass every where. Well Red Alert is a fine game and I really enjoy the multiplayer options and Skirmish Missions. Its just that the frustration gets to me when ive tried to complete a mission and just cant. Another thing Ive realised is that with Red alert there isnt much strategy in it, for a strategy game at least. All i do is amass a huge army and recreate blitzkrieg on the enemy's ass. iTS NOt hard to group up a huge force. What is hard is the speed needed to group your force before your enemy's ass becomes a very hard, gung ho, violent ass that has only been seen in the woman in Tom and Jerryu Cartoons...
