Bloo Acticlean

I like to pride myself on the cleanliness of my home, however having an all white bathroom suite, I am conscious of my bathroom smelling as clean as it looks. No one wants a smelly toilet, so I decided to buy Jeyes Bloo instead of my usual routine of pouring disinfectant in the cistern. I bought Bloo Acticlean from my local Morrison's store for £1.58 and opted for Bloo instead of Tesco's own label version as Jeyes has a good reputation. Having recently moved out on my own, I'm just learning how difficult housework really is. I lived on my own at the halls of residence at Uni but that was different - there were cleaners for the halls, bathrooms and kitchens; I just had to keep my room clean. One thing I really don't like is cleaning the toilet. I clean it twice a week with bleach and the toilet brush but these little blue blocks help keep it pristine in-between cleans. Living in a hard water area, lime scale is the bane of our lives when it comes to our kettle and in the interests of this review, our toilets. Our otherwise clean, (honest) white toilets are left with unsightly lime scale stains (beige in colour) noticeably down the back and at the bottom of the toilet. This is despite using various rim blocks that clean after every flush and leaving heavy duty bleaches to work overnight.
