DisadvantagesNone

Exceptional, chilling thriller

AdvantagesChilling, tense and and utterly mesmerising.

DisadvantagesI couldn't put it down which was hard on my wrists as it was hardback!

It is brilliantly written and really does draw you in.
I don't think I've ever read a darker book - it's actively disturbing. (*)

Very interesting plot, mysterious characters, gripping from the outset.
Perhaps too confusing in places, maybe slightly anticlimactic. (*)
Neat thriller in which the ends are tidied up nicely
Unoriginal, no Norwegian character (*)
An original idea, thrilling beyond belief
Set in the 80s and therefore some things are outdated (*)
interesting central concept, gripping read, engaging characters
unneccessary coincidence towards end (*)
