The quality of presenters is good - a good mix of personalities.
Sally Bundock also does a good spot on Bloomberg money - a good insight into alternative investing.

I've seen the rest but I definatelty rate Bloomberg for up to date market analysis.
Advantages: spread betting, good finacial coverage Disadvantages: poor presenters
...check the latest financial information. Bloomberg covers news from financial too international current affairs. On screen you get updated information about shares, bonds and currencies markets. Although the presenters leave a lot to be desired I enjoy watching the betting section on Premiership football teams on a Saturday morning and it reminds me shares are like betting, sometimes you will pick the wrong team. Other news sections include Clarke’s ... ...go over to the US Bloomberg desk to find out what’s going on in the US. I find this not of much interest, but seeing that guy in the braces provides 2 minutes of amusement as he is a cross between a weatherman and Andy Gray the sky football presenter.
After watching for a while you will notice that news and information is repeated over and over again, but to fill space for an hour its a good watch and to learn some new financial information ...

Bloomberg is an excellent programe. Many programs that are on the TV give share prices, and indecie information only when there are news bulletins at certain times throughout the day etc. But the Bloomberg channel allows you to check your share price anytime throughout the day or night, and as I have said this is excellent especially if you are on the go all day and you can receive the latest share prices when you want them. As well as the TV Program ... ...So as you can see Bloomberg is not just a channel that offers continuous information about the stock markets and financial information throughout the world, it is also a website that allows you to create a personal profile about your shares etc and also to gain more information about financial services etc.
Bloomberg is a 24 hour channel and is available on digital television and it is on channel 504- on Sky Digital. ...

Advantages: extremely accessable Disadvantages: is so widely accessable it crowds out competition
We have to remember that Bloomberg is not only a tv channel it is widely available on the internet, in print media and on radio and local and independent television stations.
Bloomberg is overtaking some smaller media markets to become the only voice about business news in some areas. This is a credit to Bloomberg. Their business news is concise, current and rapidly becoming the sole business news provider. Bloomberg 's international media empire ...

Advantages: Trustnet has a vast database the sort function and grouping buttons make the site easy to use, factsheets have a nice layout, intuitive Disadvantages: Lacking discussion in the forums on the site, does include information on every Unit Trust manager
Trustnet is a website that I have been using for roughly 2 years after seeing it advertised in BloombergMoney magazine. When I first started using trustnet only information on investment trusts was available. After roughly 4 months of using the site information on Unit trusts was then included.
The data on trustnet is organised in a database format. A sort function exists on the site which allows funds to be sorted according to different criteria eg. Performance over 1,3 and 5 years, or Dividend Yield.
The funds and trusts on the site can be looked at as a whole and compared (which is very difficult because there are so many) or broken down into groups such as UK Growth & Income and Global Growth (Investment Trusts).
Unit trust groups also exist and include the examples of UK Equity Income and UK All Companies.

Advantages: news, topics, views from top sources Disadvantages: no really effective search engine, nor personal finance
news archives, but I wasn't able to since I didn't see a search engine.
Unfortunately the Bloomberg site does not really cater for the 'retail' investor - the one looking to put their money in more wholesome things like Building Societies, ISAs, Life Insurance etc - it is very much for the stock investor, both home and abroad. And for that it gives an excellent informed service.
If Bloomberg scores in one big way it is it's interviews with company CEOs or Fund Managers. Because of it's name, comments it makes carry clout - so, therefore does a feature spot on your company.
To sum up, professional, classy and well laid out - but not for the beginner ...
