I'm a big fan of anything spicy and I really enjoy eating and preparing Indian, Chinese and South-east Asian food. I regularly cook stir-fries but never use prepared sauces, prefering to rely on soy sauce, sesame oil and the flavours from the herbs or spices I've used in the marinades. So when I first decided to try this some years ago now, I was a bit doubtful. That didn't last long as the first whiff as I opened the bottle made we want to just spoon it down on the spot. So now, just as I like to have a choice of chutnies when I'm eating Indian I do love a bit of dipping sauce with Chinese.
I've tried several sweet chilli sauces since then, including those from my Chinese supermarket, but nothing compares to Blue Dragon. I confess, that I will even sometimes go to the fridge with a spoon and just fill it with sauce!.
I find that it's the perfect accompaniment, whether you just want to dip your prawn crackers and spring rolls, or stir a spoonful through your bowl of fried rice. I also regularly use it as an ingredient in my marinades.
If you can find it, the best way to buy it is in the squeezy bottle. Last time I found it in Sainsbury's, it was a lot cheaper per 100gm than the glass bottle, but they don't always have it. I don't care though; I'd buy it in old socks if it was the only way I could get it.
My rating: 10/10 (think I'll go and have spoonful now!)
I agree, I'm interested in more info, not having tried it please.

It is rather moorish. I like to marinate chicken pieces in it - it makes a wonderfully piquant dish. Lexy

I hovered over V. Helpful, but then changed my mind, as you haven't really explained what the sauce is. What is it actually made of other than chillie and sugar? How much did it cost, even if it was cheaper in plastic than glass? Sorry to be pedantic, as I can tell you love it! If you edit, let me know and I will come and rerate it.
