Scrambler as you might guess from the name is a vehicle that can scramble around on rough ground, on building sites (or the gravel/sand play pits) . This toy often comes with a little trailer and a jointed Bob the builder figure. This is a blue vehicle with seating for one toy person. It has handle bars not a steering wheel for turning. When this toy is rolled along the ground the googly eyes on the front jiggle up and down. This is a friction vehicle and can be made to zoom pretty fast across a solid floor. Bristle , Bobs mate

Here he comes to clean the streets its Bristle a toy from Born to play is a plastic copy of Bristle one of Bob the builders helpers . Bristle is a street cleaner. The children that I know love Bob the builder toys . Bristle is a grey engine with a blue waste unit trailer which has a grey flip top lid for emptying the rubbish . Like all bob the builder characters Bristle has a face the headlights are his eyes wityh white lights which have a black dot in the centre to represent the pupils . The radiator grid at the front of the engine looks like his mouth, On top of the cab there are two yellow plastic bits to represent lights these look like eyebrows . Under the front of the cab there are two rubber bristles these work they will pick up the grey litter balls that are provided and these end up in the waste unit. These balls ...

Off Roading with Bob and Friends

Advantages: Sturdy, friction action, can get with accessories if you keep an eye out
Disadvantages: Children who abuse toys when playing may damage parts

to give them a tow if you have those figures, or a couple little toy bricks for that building project.When pulled along by Scrambler, it doesn't wobble or tip, and survives being put in the toy box quite well. Likewise, the chunky plastic articulated Bob figure we received was well made, and the head, arms, and legs turn well. Bob's hands are cupped slightly open, so he is able to sit astride Scrambler and "hold" onto the grips to go for a ride. These features add a lot more play value to the vehicle, and I heartily recommend buying this toy as a set like this rather than on it's own, even if it cost a couple of pounds more. All in all, this toy has given my son many hours of fun, and is still regularly played with.
