I mainly like using the Bobbi Brown range because it is specially formulated for both white and coloured skins. The main reason it is good to have a make up range for coloured skins is because the darker you are the easier it is for your skin to get greasy, and many make up ranges do not consider this. Also many other make up ranges do not have flattering colours for coloured skin so you end up looking kind of funny and with a grey tinge.
I have to say that Bobbi Brown assistants are very helpful and are willing to give you samples to try before you buy, so you don’t feel pressurized into walking away with something you don’t want, which I think is very important especially if you are paying a lot for it.
My favourite Bobbi Brown product is their stick foundation its £26 but it lasts for 6 months, goes on easily and lasts all day, so it gives you everything you need from the product. The range goes from eyeshadows to blushers, lipsticks to bronzers, brushes to perfume, I think that there is something for everyone there – no mater what colour you are. Prices start at around £10 and works its way up. What I also find helpful is that they do make up books, for teens, an essential make up book and another one which serves as a guide. Basically they show you how to apply make up, how to find out what suits you and so on and so forth. I have the essential make up guide and it is very informative, just general things like what make up brushes are best and things like that but it is information which is very helpful.
Bobbi Brown has become more prominent over the past few years and it has become more widely available, and you can purchase items from all department stores. Its like a breath of fresh air as it doesn’t offer the same products as other makes and everything is packaged in a simple way so all you feel you are really paying for is the product rather than fancy packaging.
I urge people to go to the Bobbi Brown counter in their nearest department store and have a look – sie at what they have on offer. You may be pleasantly surprised.

This really sounds worth a go, as I have Chinese skin and finding a foundation can be very difficult! x
