...I purchased this item recently and have been completely happy with it. It is very simple to use, the water tank comes away from the main body very easily and is easy to fill. It takes only a few seconds for the pressure to build and the steam that emits from the nozzle is great, and all you need to do it keep your finger on the button. It cleans perfectly, I do both of my bathrooms with it, including the tiles on the wall. It comes complete with various attachments such as: shower door and mirror cleaner, upholstery cleaner, tile grout cleaner, plus an attachment for going round corners (not that I have had to use that yet). The most important part of using a steam cleaner is that it is very hygenic, the steam kills all the bugs that you cannot see. Would recommend for all cleaning of any surfaces, bathroom, kitchen etc....

Advantages: quick, easysetup, no messing, cleans spotless, cheap, no soaked floors to dry, robust Disadvantages: none
...I bought this steamer mop about 6 months ago .
I have mostly hard floors in my house, 1 very large boisterous dog and 2 mucky kids so I hate having to mop the floors.
I thought i would try a simple steam mop, I didn't want anything to flash or a multi talented steam appliance, I just wanted a better faster easier alternative to string mops and soggy floors.
The Home tek mop was a cheaper option than most of the other similar steam products It looked simple and straight forward but to be honest I didn't have a whole lot in faith in it becoming like a best friend.
I can honestly say I will never look back after buying the Home-tek Ht834 Steam Mop. Its fantastic, Its fast and easy to setup to use, always spotless cleaning and with no effort also the pads are washable, I just chuck mine in the washing machine and not had to replace...

...faults of my Home-tek model.)
It also says that all the washable pieces can go in your dishwasher. (I should be so lucky.)
It has a splatterproof shaft.
If you have previously used one of these, you have probably also worn shirts decorated with spots. Tomato puree t-shirts were common with both previous models. If I tried to save washing up and puree in the pan instead of the cup it came with, I ALWAYS got covered (and even sometimes using the cup). This is definitely an improvement. There was some splattering using a small amount, but it wasn't on my clothes.
Things that I don't like about it.
It has a flex which is 1 metre 15cm.
Probably long enough for most people. My kitchen has lots of things on the worksurfaces, so it's not always convenient to locate the blender this close to a plug socket. OK it's not the end of the world and I...
