body butter miracle!
Review of Avon Planet Spa Whipped Body Butter by Shady_lane23

Advantages: smell, feeling, end result, price
Disadvantages: runs out to quickly!

...when looking through the monthly avon book. The planet spa products were then just new, and if you bought the body butter you received another free planet spa product so I decided to order it. THE PRODUCT: This product is creamy, and smells good enough to eat. It feels like you really are being pampered at a spa. It came in a round ivory container, with a easy to twist off lid. THE DIRECTIONS: after showering, it advises you to apply the body ...
...in. THE RESULT: The avon body butter left my skin amazingly soft, and great smelling, it even works on dry elbows and ankles. THE PRICE: The Avon body butter was 6.95 canadian in the avon brochure and came with a free gift as well. MY OPINON: I will definately continue to buy this product, and reccommend it to anyone wanting a softer, touchably soft body. I also cant wait to try other planet spa products. ... Read review

...and had not used any Avon products since being quite young. For anyone who has not heard of this product before then please let me explain. ...really pleased to received the body scrub as I was running out of my normal exfoliator.I was also really keen to try out a new brand as my usual brand had been leaving my skin feeling quite dry. My first impressions of the product were really good before I even started using it I was won over by the packaging. The body scrub comes in a clear plastic 150ml bottle, with a plastic flip top lid. It has the Planet Spa logo stretching across the front ... Read review

Body Shop Mango Body Butter
Review of The Body Shop Mango Body Butter by yazoo88

Advantages: Gorgeous smell, really soft
Disadvantages: Takes a while to soak in

I bought the Mango Body Butter at a Body Shop party. I'd seen them in the body shop before but never bought one after thinking they seemed a bit overpriced…but we all got a bit carried away buying things, plus it was my friend hosting her first Body Shop party so I wanted her to feel like she'd done well! At the party a strawberry sample of the butter had been passed around. It was far too sweet for my liking, but I really liked the texture and decided ...
...200ml tub. Packaging The body butter arrived about a week later. I really liked the packaging, it came in a big orange round pot, with a big picture of a mango on the top of the lid, with the body shop logo on the middle and 'Mango Body Butter' written in white lettering at the top. I was really pleased with how big the pot was, it justified spending £10 on a body lotion! The Body Lotion I opened the pot and absolutely loved the smell. ... Read review

Body butter.. good enough to eat
Review of The Body Shop Range by lesley007

Advantages: moisturising
Disadvantages: doesn,t last as long as would like

I love the wide range of fragrances available in "Body Shop" body butters. The coconut is absolutly fabulous. One whiff and you are transported to paradise.. memories of beach holidays and happy days. My skin loves it and just soaks up the moisture which this cream just oozes. My only critism is it just doesn't last as long as I would like it to. You really need two tubs if you want it to last the life of the shower gel and body lotion.. perhaps ... Read review

Flying Out of My Lush Collection
Review of Lush Flying Fox Temple Balm by kalliemaile

Advantages: None in my opinion its HORRIBLE !!
Disadvantages: Where do I start ? Its too strong, makes me feel ill, is expensive, I could go on ....

The latest item in my Lush collection is the Flying Fox Temple balm and I must say I am not at all impressed. I have a few of the little pots of fragrence, my favorite being Honey I washed The Kids, I also have Potion which is lovely. Lush make 2 sorts of fragrences in little metal tins, one lot is called solid fragrence, however some are called temple balm, to me they all seem the same though, solid creams which have aromas of different Lush products. ...
...things I have tried from Lush and I can go into detail about the loveliness of the product, not today Im afraid ! The balm comes in a 10g screw top metal tin, the cost is £4.25. The product itself is a creamy colour with a hint of pale orange, it is easy to use, just rub your finger over the top of the cream and then rub it on your wrists. The scents used for this are Ylang Ylang and Jasmine, I like these smells however they are not my cup of tea ... Read review
