Almond Pistachio & Milk Body Butter

Advantages: Indulgent, nourishing, moisturising, softens skin.
Disadvantages: Residue scent may not be as appealing as other products

...the pampering gift packs from Boots which included an exfoliating sponge and a body wash. I have the one in the small 50ml container and it also comes in a larger 200ml container for about £5 at Boots. It has a round black cover with a sticker covering most of it; the 'Boots' logo is in one corner in blue then the words 'mediterranean almond pistcahio & milk' in variable black clear font and the small words 'BODY BUTTER' at the bottom in an orange-ish ...
...against a white background so it's easy to spot on the shelf among other ranges.. The ingredients as indicated on the cover are: 'nourishing organic almond oil, moistursing pistachio oil & skin softening milk extract'. The rest of the container is a translucent rounded jar and you can see the product which is a cream colour through the jar. On opening the jar, you will find it has a lovely sweet yet subtle scent. You can pick the scent of the nuts ...

Smells good, works well

Advantages: Great product, Great Guy!
Disadvantages: None really

Lovely product, as with all of Barefoot's products. I always find him to be full of wisdom and inspiration, so it was great to find this bath-time range of delightful goodies. They make a great gift for a loved one or friend and I can recommend all of them (I've taken the time to sample them all... sad?!) Also worth checking out his excellent Books and his new DVDs (3 of them from the Vision Health range) - on Asthma, Diabetes and Arthritis. They're ...
...of taoist wisdom, cheekily irreverent humour and life coaching. His DVDs are an excellent complement to his books, as they have 14 different "masters" (doctors or alternative health practitioners) who share their wisdom on common ailments. The body creams, soaps et al. are an excellent complement to his wit and wisdom. Highly recommend all of Barefoot's products, but it's great to see that with the DVD's and these herbally inspired aromatic delights ...

O wonder!

Advantages: Lasts forever, smells interesting
Disadvantages: Pricey for a lip balm

...but it's true. The Boots Mediterranean range appeared a few years ago as part of what has become a massive regeneration of "Boot's own". The products are characterised by the emphasis on natural, organic ingredients that bring to mind the "healthy" lifestyle we fondly imagine everyone in the South of France and Italy to live. I don't mean to be cynical though - the bottles and pots, with words in large print that jump out at you like "apricot", ...
...screw-top lid. In several languages, Boots repeat the product's claims: "WONDERBALM with skin-nourishing ORGANIC olive oil, fragrant sage oil and ORGANIC sweet almond oil." They really do emphasise the ORGANIC aspect! The instructions suggest it can be applied to elbows, knees, heels and lips, a change from the original packaging which only had lips as an afterthought. The product is dermatologically tested. This is the ingredients list: Petrolatum, ...

Butter for your body made from beans!

Advantages: helps skin
Disadvantages: lid is annoying!

...trade products this means that Boots then pays them for their products as well as extra money for them to invest in the communities this then helps the farmers who have poor backgrounds to be able to improve their lives. The quality of the products are higher than those in the other, non fair trade products. I quite like the thought of using this body butter which I think is quite a treat to myself knowing that the money I have spent on it is helping ...
...little easier. It's nice to know that the products are all sourced from natural ingredients that are grown to a certain standard to be able to be used. My opinion Using this cocoa butter might not have prevented me getting stretch marks during pregnancy- as it turned out I didn't get any- I don't know whether it was due to this butter or just good genetics but I definitely found this product to be a great buy. I found that it made my skin ...

Butter me up

Advantages: Smell, leaves skin beautiful, lasting hydration
Disadvantages: It eventually runs out :-(

A rich and creamy body butter, with a gorgeous smell. What more could you wish for? I received this product as part of a Christmas present last year, and couldn't wait to try it out. It left my skin feeling moisturized and hydrated, even when i woke up the next morning. I would highly recommend this product, as it was so successful in my experience. My sister has also tried out the product and she agreed with my opinion. I think the body butter would ...
