Lush Gets CTG Back
Review of Lush Range by cozzi

Advantages: Lush and CTG back together where they belong
Disadvantages: None/Nil/denada

...I placed an order with Lush on Tuesday and was discussing with the order taker, that I was a old CTG customer in 1988. She informed me that Mark had got his original CTG back! Lush will have many of the CTG stuff on the site and that they will have a Retro section. This sounds like a section that will house any discontinued stuff that does not sell well but is possibly one customers fave. What a great idea! She also informed me that Mark has decided ...
...saves on landfill and you can either feed the Birdies or pop (LOL) it on the compost heap. Mark would love us to feed the birdies with it as he is a bird lover (the feathered kind) I look forward to seeing the new website when it goes live sometime this week. I have placed a rather large order and will let you know how it goes, I am waiting for my delivery like a kid waiting for Santa to arrive. ... Read review

Flying Fox, for foxy females
Review of Lush Flying Fox Temple Balm by pinkambie

Advantages: Gorgeous scent, longlasting, can be used as massage balm and perfume
Disadvantages: A little greasy, perhaps too expensive for some

I'm a big fan of the jasmine scented products from Lush, and am devoted to both Godiva shampoo and Flying Fox shower gel, so obviously when I discovered this little beauty I couldn't wait to pick it up and have that gorgeous Flying Fox scent all day! The jasmine scent is long-lasting and noticeable without being overpowering, and it certainly makes you feel happy and sexy, as well as being calming. It's marketed as an antidote for moody women, and ...
...day or it's just that 'time of the month'. As well as a temple balm for when things are getting overwhelming, Flying Fox temple balm can also be used as an every day perfume, I'm a daily devotee yet this little tiny pot has lasted for about 6 months and is still going strong. Although £3.95 might seem a lot for such a little pot, its potential as both a calming massage balm and as a perfume means that it's worth every penny - after all, fine fragrances ... Read review

It'll Drive You Coco-Nutty!
Review of The Body Shop Coconut Body Butter by mummy2harry

Advantages: Lovely scent, easy to use, absorbs quickly
Disadvantages: Bigger pots are quite expensive

...to mention I don't get the time to pamper myself very often! But when I received a free 50ml pot of The Body Shop's Coconut Body Butter with my copy of Marie Claire this month, I thought it'd be worth a try as it didn't cost me anything, and to be honest, it smelt gorgeous! The Body Shop are famous for their body and beauty products because they do not test their products on animals. They do many products from make-up, to shower gels to these body ...
...beauty industry, most recently winning The Sunday Times Style 2008 award for Best Body Moisturiser for the second year running, a pretty good accolade for them! So I knew this was going to be a good moisturiser and set about using it. Obviously in this weather, we're all wearing cropped trousers and shorts a lot, and my legs do dry out a bit from the sun, and the shaving creams and razors I use on my legs. I thought therefore that my legs would ... Read review

Butterly Butterly Brilliant
Review of The Body Shop Blueberry Body Butter by beccy9992

Advantages: gorgeous smell, easily absorbed and skill feels fantastic
Disadvantages: slightly expensive, smells so good you may be tempted to eat it...

...you have not yet discovered the 'Body Butter' range produced by The Body Shop, I strongly urge you to hop foot it on down there…I do not hold any qualms to say that the range is truly a delight. My first experience of the Body Butter, was a rather delectable coconut flavour…it was absolutely delicious, and was brilliant for my skin which is prone to dry patches, which occasionally border on the painful. On running out, I decided I'd like to try a ...
...that is the Blueberry Body Butter… So what exactly is a Body Butter? I was, at first, a little apprehensive. As much as I adore butter on my toast, I was in no way keen at the prospect of spreading something so greasy all over my body. But do not be put off - it is simply a divine moisturiser. If you're looking for something that really does the job, this is the product for you! Price and Availability: These are clearly only available from The Body ... Read review

Coconut Butter for dry skin
Review of The Body Shop Coconut Body Butter by radskies

Advantages: Works well with driy and scaly skin, nice fragrance
Disadvantages: Quite expensive

The body shop is renown for its wonderful (although sometimes expensive) body care products and in this case, the body sop coconut butter is nothing less than wonderful. When I first used the product I was a bit skeptical upon how this coco butter is different from its cheaper alternatives. However I realised how much more effective it was for my skin (especially my legs) compared to some other brands. Within ONE day of use, my skin was noticably ...
...fragance made it seem so much nicer. Some other brands either made my skin sticky or had that really powerful and over-the-top frangance that made me cringe. I recommencd this product to people that have dry, scaly skin like I used to. This review is based on my preferences and skin-type so this product may not satisfy everyone. ... Read review
