Wear your thongs even when your on! 22 of 22 Ciao Users found the following review helpful

Advantages value for money, practical,

Disadvantages not enough adhesive, not for heavy periods

I don't know about some of you women, but I am a consistent thong wearer. Many of my friends have 'special' underwear for that time of the month, mostly large, unsightly, and discoloured briefs. After being constantly told by my mother on the state of ones underwear in case you get run over, I pride myself on always wearing matching underwear, which only consist of thongs. I was slightly relieved when I discovered thong panty liners. It was always difficult trying to manouevre regular towels into thong underwear, and I have always been a tad suspicious of wearing tampons, once the scare mongers regularly reported about toxic shock syndrome.

So when I discovered Bodyform's individually wrapped towels on a holiday in Spain, a few years ago. I went in search of them and have never looked back.

They are described as ultra fit and this perfectly describes how the towel fit snugly into thongs, The only drawback is whether you are a thong or string wearer. For those who don't know the difference thongs have a thicker piece at the back, whereas string is exactly what is says. So as you can imagine it is very difficult to try and attach two flaps on to a piece of string, especially when these flaps control whether or not a leak can occur. I must say this is something that bodyform should rethink as the flaps are neither big enough or adhesive enough. I find that the best way to make tit stay snug in your thong is to put the two flaps under the string and attach the flaps together, alternatively for those 3-7 days (or whatever your cycle may be) wear thongs. You get a slighlty bigger piece of material to work with!

Despite the shape of your thongs, as long as you attach them along the shape of your underwear (and secure threm properly) you should find that the absorbency is central to the towel, thereby reducing the risk of leakage. They are very absorbent considering how slim (3mm) the towel is. I have never had any 'accidents' with them. I would not, however, recommend them to women with heavy periods or those who normally use super towels.

What I most like about these towels are the fact that even when I am feeling at my worst during my period, I can still wear nice underwear and still feel comfortable.

Most of the time I'm a thong wearer and once a month I do prefer tampons but there are some days when a girl's gotta have big pants!
