The Body Shop offers several different varieties of blotting papers. I chose the Tea Tree Oil papers because they weren't powdered like the rest; I like to try to keep my skin as clean and make-up-free as possible to prevent blemishes. These blotting papers cost about £2.00 (I'm not sure exactly how much they cost because I bought them a while ago), which is more expensive than some other blotting tissues but worth paying if you don't want powdered paper.

Packaging
"""""""""""""""
The Tea Tree Oil Blotting Papers come in a small green and black envelope, which allows you to pull individual papers out easily. This envelope comes in a protective wrapping so that you know none of the papers have been removed.

Product

The papers themselves are very thin and resemble grease-proof paper that you use in cooking! To use them you simply press one against your skin where you want to mop up any excess oil and then pull it away again. You can actually see all the oil on the tissue - pretty disgusting! Still, at least you can tell that it's working!

Effective?
""""""""""""""
These papers do absorb oil very well, though if you have quite oily skin you might need more than one at a time, which could be quite costly. However, if like me you only need them for your t-zone, one should be enough. The only problem with using blotting paper that isn't powdered is that skin can get oily again; there's nothing preventative about these papers. Also, powder helps to give your skin a nice matte look, whereas these papers can only remove excess oil, which mattifies the skin to an extent but not as much. On the flipside though, the lack of powder means that these papers cannot cause blemishes or clogged pores at all.

Overall
""""""""""
Overall these papers are good at their job and not too expensive. You get about 65 papers per packet, which in my case equals two months worth of usage. However, if powder doesn't cause your skin any problems, I would advise going for powdered blotting papers, which will help to keep your skin matte and fresh for longer.
