Advantages: Lots of brand-names at cheaper prices Disadvantages: Might not be a shop near you, no branded make-up
...know people look down on Bodycare as it's so cheap sometimes, and I admit, I used to be one of those people! But I went into the new one near me, and now I'm hooked.

The layout of Bodycare is quite simple. In all the ones I've been in, there are grey carpets which are kept clean and vacuumed regularly (I've seen a cleaning lady), and black shelves backed up against the wall full of products so that you can't see the wall (which can only be good!), and the wide selection of perfumes behind the counter. The shampoos, make-up, hair-dye, etc are all in their own sections and are easy to find.

Prices in Boots can be twice as expensive for certain items, and they are exactly the same - I was slightly wary at first, wonderiing why everything is so cheap, so I (I'm quite embarrassed about this) checked the barcode on an item, then went to Boots, checked the bar-code on that item and compared them. Well, they were different, but the first few numbers were the same, and that was good enough for me!

They sell pretty much everything Boots and Superdrug do, but less make-up. The only make-up brands I've seen are Technic and Lizzie, which are really cheap (49p, 99p) and I admit, don't touch as I've never heard of them before!
The staff are mostly helpful and polite, but a lot of them are young girls on Saturday jobs if you go in on a Saturday, and they don't know the stock and aren't really helpful, but on the occasions I've asked about something and they don't know, they've always sent for an older member of staff.
The prices are the main attraction of Bodycare, and I admit to buying something from Bodycare and then hastily rushing off to Boots to reassure myself I haven't paid too much for something! Here are some things I've bought in Bodycare, and the price they are in Boots:
I know some of the prices aren't that different, and I sound like a cheap-skate, but if you add it all up the difference comes to quite a bit!
They sell pretty much everything: perfumes, shower gel, moisturisers, hair-dye, deodorants, candles, nappies, toothbrushes, etc etc. The shelves are always fully stocked, which is a credit to them as they're often very busy!
As well as brand-names, there are some unknown brands there that I don't go for - 15p deodorant anyone? I tend to stick to brand names and you can't go wrong. There's also a huge selection of perfumes there, at a few pounds cheaper than normal, but there are no testers and they are all behind the counter so you can't have a look for yourself.
I did ask to see CKone though, and they did take it down for me and let me have a squirt, which was nice of them, but if they just let people squirt out of random bottles, without a designated tester, then the people who buy those bottles are going to have less perfume for their money, aren't they?
Everything is easily found, as it's set out open-plan, so you can walk in and see where everything is straightaway. There are usually very little queues as there's always a few members of staff by the tills as well, and I've never waited more than 1 or 2 minutes.
Overall, this is really good, but I still go back to my beloved Boots for my make-up, and if the prices aren't that different, buy them from Boots, just as an excuse to get some points on my Advantage Card!
Bodycare are a relatively new high street retailer of health and beauty products, they have popped up in many major towns and cities. You may not have heard of them because I have never seen an advert for them in my life.
Bodycare have an extensive range of day-to-day beauty products such as deodorants, shower gels and aftershaves at very competitive prices in comparison to where I usually shop (Boots or Superdrug).
An example of their value is ... ...sets you get everywhere but Bodycare supply a good range of gift set ideas that I haven’t seen elsewhere.
Bodycare stock a vast variety of well-known brands and are always very well stocked. The shop is of reasonable presentation it is not the most eye leasing but is very well organised and shelves are always fully stocked.
Staff in Bodycare are well presented and very helpful, they were always at hand and made some good recommendations to ...

Advantages: Cheap prices Disadvantages: Would like to see more products
...The shop is called Bodycare and they have prices which beat most shops hands down. Today for example I bought a pack of Pampers nappies, usually £6.65 for £5.95, a tube of Mentadent P toothpaste usually £1.75 for £1.35, 250ml of Cussons Carex Bodywash for £1.00 usually in excess of £2.00 and Wisdom Sensitive Toothbrushes for 99p each usually over £2.00. They sell most of the usual brands and I dont know how they do it for the money. A great shop ...

They sell brand name items cheap, ... ...are always stocking up there shelves too, which is good, as you know you will probably find what you are looking for.
It's always very busy when i go in to the shop, but the queue's go down quite quickly as they have a few staff on the tills usually, especially at busier times of the day.
I'd recommend anyone going to this shop for beauty and personal products. ...

Advantages: cheap, good variety of products on sale Disadvantages: it does not sell every product I use
Bodycare sells beauty products at competitive prices and gives Boots and Superdrug a good run for their money. Unlike Boots and Superdrug there is not a branch on every high street and it just so happens that there was a branch near me - lucky me!
The shop itself is large and sparsley decorated but the rows and rows of beauty products more than make up for the decor. Bodycare sells branded products as well as unbranded products more cheaply than ... ...cheap! The newer products are all the Hemp Products and also the Henna range.
The products are not as cheap as if you were to buy them from say Superdrug or Bodycare but they are different and they all smell natural and luscious so are well worth the buy!
The shop also try to be as Eco-friendly as possible and will only give you a bag if you ask for one, the botles are also labelled with " Please return once finished".
