Makeup primer with a lovely rosy glow!

Advantages: A lovely smooth and rosy glow!
Disadvantages: Expensive but a high end product.

I've read that using a face primer before applying foundation helps give a more smoother make-up application, and also helps foundation last longer. Having been so impressed with MAC Foundation I was originally going to give the MAC Primer a go, but I've heard so many good things about the Benefit cosmetics range I decided to give this one a go! Benefit Cosmetics is a global beauty brand, with over 1,000 counters in more than 25 countries. You may find their counters in Debenhams and larger Boots stores, and they are a high end cosmetics company. Their products have a lovely quirkyness to them and their packaging is always bright and colourful, the product names always something original. This skin primer is called "that gal" (no capitals!) and comes in a brightly packaged box with has a drawing of a cityscape on it ...

Review of Benefit That Gal Primer

The Perfect Base for All Makeup.

Advantages: Long lasting, slightly sweet smelling, really works!
Disadvantages: Can cause slight bumps in skin, slightly pricey

I was looking around review sites trying to find a primer, seeing as my benefit primer had run out. This is part of the GOSH range for stage shows and such. This primer has had rave reviews all across the net. And once finding my local store that supplied GOSH make-up it was 3 for 2! Get in! I believe the only issue with it was that it gives some people small bumps in their skin and stopped using it. I too experienced the bumps but I continued to use it regardless because it works SO well. Its in a pump tube, and you will only need one pump for the whole face, which shows great lasting power, its got a slightly sweet smell, not exactly caramel but ...something. its incredibly silky and gets into the skin quickly plus it is perfume and preservative free! It keeps my skin looking smooth, glowing and immaculate! It lasts for hours too ...

Review of Gosh Velvet Touch Foundation Primer

Superfit with this foundation :) (Clinique SuperFit Makeup)

Advantages: great coverage and lasts
Disadvantages: slighlty pricey

on the skin. I use a trusty make up sponge to make sure its blended properly. I love the full coverage it gives, perfect when I am called out to the hospital in the middle of the night. I just stick a layer of this on and you can't tell I have had no sleep! I buy alot of my make up from Debenhams, which you have proabaly noticed from my other reviews. This product costs me around £17.50 which i think is great compared to other such as estee lauder which can cost up to £21 for the same size foundation. Overall this foundation gives good blendable coverage which stays on and lasts. ...
