Bonios are a bone shaped biscuit made by purina. They come in four different sizes, bitesize, mini, original and giant. They also come in serveral flavours original, lamb, beef, chicken, charcoal and at christmas time turkey. If you are purchasing from a supermarket you are likely to only find the original size and flavour, for other sizes or flavours it is best to go to a pet store, such as Pets At Home.
We have a one year old Labrador and he absolutely loves Bonios. So much so that if you say Bonio he goes crazy.
The normal size is good for most dogs, although it would be quite a large treat for say a jack russell sized dog. Sometimes we dont want to give our dog too many treats, and bonios are quite easy to break in half or even into 3 pieces. It makes them last longer too.
We generally buy the original flavour and he loves them, he does like the lamb flavour but doesnt seem to have a preference to any flavour. Although he didnt seem quite as keen on the charcoal ones, and they are a strange dark grey/black colour. I have heard other people saying their dogs didnt like the charcoal ones, but they are supposed to be good for their tummy.
Of all the sizes available I have only seen original and giant for sale. Or dog loves the giant ones, he thinks its christmas. If you have a smaller dog and were wanting the smallest two sizes they can be bought online via www.bonio.co.uk. They also have many features for dog owners on there, so it is worth a look.
None of us want a fat pooch, so it may be worth sticking to the feeding guide. Although I guess if you over fed your dog some bonios you could always reduce their meal to compensate.

Purina recomend Bonios as a low fat treat that is good for teeth, I cant comment too much on that. But my dog loves them.
They cost 98p for 650g of the original size, but I have been unable to find prices for the other sizes.
