I Prefer Books When I'm Home But I Prefer E-books When Traveling

Advantages books are cheaper, doesn't need much careful handling
Disadvantages bulky to carry when traveling
Books are still the best, in my opinion, but use e-books when you travel or when you're away from home especially for longer periods of time.
With books, it is alright if you spill something on it, like the coffee or juice you are sipping while reading. You can dry it after that. Having that small accident with your kindle can be costly. You can also drop your book, be it intentional or accidental. No damage there. You have to be a lot more careful with your kindle. You can't sit on it or accidentally sleep or step on it.With books, you can easily scan and go back to a page you have read already. With your kindle, that task is more tedious. I found that out myself.
A book is easier to hold than a kindle. I don't exercise often, so I get muscle pain in my hands when I use my kindle for long periods of time, especially on the small finger and the base of the thumb area. Most of all, I love the smell of paper, especially new paper. I can't smell that in e-books. :)
But when traveling, I prefer e-books because it doesn't occupy much space in my bag compared to bringing 3-5 paperbacks at a time. I experienced having finished with a book but still wanted to read more books but I ran out of books to read because I only brought 2 books. That's when I realized I should have brouhgt my kindle instead
