As the name suggests, the channel brings back the golden oldies from longer ago than I care to remember, and is great for a spot of reminiscing. Remember when the cutting edge of technology was a wooden-cased Baird TV with four push-buttons to change channels (BBC1, BBC2, ITV and a spare!)?? Remember watching classic (but now, sadly forgotten) cartoons like The Hair Bear Bunch, Speed Buggy, Goober And The Ghost Chasers, The Funky Phantom... Need I go on?? Boomerang is a channel dedicated to classic cartoons, none of that digimon & pokémon lark! It's a good channel for everyone because all the children can find something new at the same time as Adults are reliving their childhood!
It has the cartoons that everyone knows and loves: Tom + Jerry (originals), Dangermouse, Looney Toons, Hong Kong Phooey, Inch High Private Eye, Top-Cat, Huckleberry Hound, The Jetsons, Secret Squirrel, Pink Panther etc. ... ...a day, 7 days a week. And is a great free channel. :) If you don't currently receive Boomerang, please contact your local cable or satellite provider.
There is a lot of advertising but thats how they keep it free.

Our 3 children are all keen fans of the Cartoon Network / Boomerang channels. They give a wide choice of cartoons from the old classic Tom and Jerry, Scooby Doo to the new ones produced by them such as Angela Anaconda.
Cartoons are available 24 hours if you want them, usefull for unwell kids during the night who can't sleep. Great to see some of the old toons that us parents used to see, our kids enjoy them as much as we did.
They offer such a selection of toons that theres something for everyone. ...

cartoon network, Disney channel, boomerang and lots of American dramas like sex in the city, desperate house wife's, nip tuck, this was all very appealing to me.
The picture box service has a varied selection of new and old films, with a mixture of horror, action, comedy and romance there were something for everyone, a few movies I had already seen but this was okay cause there were lots more to make up for it
I have now been with the service 2months and have not had any problems customer service are always very helpful and thrive to help, I would definitely recommend this service without a doubt. Is it better than Sky? No, but its damn close and a lot more friendlier with you well needed money.

Tracy Island is also very delicate to play with and it must be hard to make! I also enjoy Mr. anderson, he is a goood script writer!! I hope I meet him when i am older!!!
I also like the way he designs all the thunderbirds with plasticine, I can hardly believe they are made of plasticine!!
I love this show on BBCl 2 and on boomerang on sky!! ...
