Advantages: none Disadvantages: too expensive and doesnt work
...i brought this cream from Boots for £3.99. I thought this was a bit expensive for the size of the cream but thought it must be good stuff.
I started using the cream as recommended on the back 2-3 times a day for a maximum 3 days.
When you apply the cream it relieved the itches for about 10 mins then she would itch again. As she kept doing this i thought i would give it ago on my bites to make sure and to a surprise i was itching ... ...take her back to the Boots pharmacy on which i was advised to carry on using this cream. As i didnt think it was working i brought piriton liquid which was prescribed by our doctor which is working but very slowly.
I wouldn't buy this cream again as the price of it was too expensive just for a relief of 10 mins and you can only apply it 3 times a day.
We didn't get a rash of any side effects from using this cream even ... more
I brought this cream of 20g to use on my 2 and a half year old daughter. I noticed she was getting a few bites that she kept itching and making it worse. Then the next day she was getting more and more. I treated the house several times but she was still getting them so i brought this cream from Boots for £3.99. I thought this was a bit expensive for the size of the cream but thought it must be good stuff.
I started using the cream as recommended on the back 2-3 times a day for a maximum 3 days. When you apply the cream it relieved the itches for about 10 mins then she would itch again. As she kept doing this i thought i would give it ago on my bites to make sure and to a surprise i was itching after about 10-15 mins after applying it.
The cream comes out white and rubs in clear as long as you dont apply to much as i did one time and eventually saw the cream on my sofa etc where she was sitting. I only noticed one size of this cream in Boots. As she was still itching i did take her back to the Boots pharmacy on which i was advised to carry on using this cream. As i didnt think it was working i brought piriton liquid which was prescribed by our doctor which is working but very slowly.

We didn't get a rash of any side effects from using this cream even tho i have very sensitive fair skin and my daughters has normal skin. There is a side effect on the back of this tube saying a rash might develop and if so stop using.

Quick review of Boots Bite and Sting Relief Antihistamine Cream
I dont think this cream works any good.
The 1st time I had like 3 mosquito bites on my hand I just ignored it and did nothing. It took 3 days to stop itching.
Now the 2nd time I had like 5 mosquito bites on the same had and it was unbearable so I decided to buy this cream. it says use it like 2-3 times a day, but I found my self using this like every 10-15 mins as the itch would start again. This time with the cream it took 3 days too to stop itching.
Do the math. Buy something else. ...
