A review of Boots Botanics Pore Perfecting Toner
THE PACKAGING...
150ml of this toner is packaged in a transparent plastic cylindrical bottle with a silver coloured metal screw cap lid. The product is easily recognisable with the boots Botanics green plant logo on a sticker label covering the front of the bottle. Written in gold green print is "Pore Perfecting Toner" giving a straightforward explanation of what the product should do. Below this ... ...in mind that with a boots advantage card you do get the extra points. Boots also generally give you money off vouchers when you spend £5, £10, £15 and so on. So maybe buy this product when you are also buying other things and save on vouchers!
Other toners I have used which have been cheaper than this, for example, boots fragrance free £1.99 toner and simple toner at £1.99 were both useless. So paying £1 extra for this botanics one is definitely ...

Advantages: Alcohol-free, decent value for money Disadvantages: Leaves skin greasy, screw-top lid, smell
...to look at alternatives. The Boots Botanics Pore Perfecting range seemed to offer products suited for slightly more mature skin still suffering from teenage problems, and I decided to give it a go. Pleased with the performance of a couple of its products, I decided to get the matching toner.

Advantages: Gets rid of large pores and blackheads, cheap, smells nice Disadvantages: None!
...toner ran out (a disastrous Boots one) and I had to buy a new one! Off I went to Boots, and i had a look around the Botanics section to see if any caught my eye. This little badboy did. With something like Amazonian clay extract and rosemary extract, how could I argue?
And for £2.99? I was running to buy it! To be honest, it takes a couple of weeks to really make a noticeable change, but boy, does it make a change! Use it both morning and night ... ...blackheads around my nose and forehead had shrunk to almost nothing!! I was delighted! The only thing is, you have to carry on using it to keep other large pores from reforming and so spots etc are kept at bay, but for £2.99 its a very cheap and fantastic skin routine in my opinion! Perfect for those with oversized pores and/or blackheads or oily skin as it also targets shine problems too! Brilliant! ...
