I am impressed! You don't need to much of this shampoo (if ou use too much it is a little difficult to wash out I find - you can also tell if there is any residue left in your hair as it feels very stif and sticky when it is dried), but the results are excellent.

I bought this shampoo as I was getting fed up of all the usual brand names doing nothing special with my hair. Boots has a "BOGOF" on Botanics, so I thought I would give it a go.
The Packaging:
The shampoo comes in a thin tall bottle of 250ml. The packing is clear plastic. There is a deep red label on the front the has the following - the boots logo in grey - The power of plants (I think this is a slogan for the botanics range) - BOTANICS and two ligher red boxes - Radiant Red Colour Enhancing Shampoo - Nourishng. With Henna Extract and moisturising honey
On the back of the bottle there is the following information:
"Plant Extracts that really work. This henna colour enhancing shampoo with moisturising honey will maintain a lustrous silky finish to your hair" The Directions are as with any other shampoo. Massage into wet hair to creat a lather. Rinse thouroughly and repeat as necessary. It also says that "for best results use with Boanics Radiant Red colour enhancing conditioner."
Warnings: - Avoid contact with eyes. Rinse well with water if it does get in your eyes. - Avoid contact with towels, clothing or bathroom fixtures. If contact does occur the bottle says to wash immediately. - Avoid contact with direct sunlight (doesnt say why) - Colour may vary due to natural extracts.
There is also a bar code and the boots website details on the bottom of the label (www.boots.com).
The shampoo:
I am impressed! You don't need to much of this shampoo (if ou use too much it is a little difficult to wash out I find - you can also tell if there is any residue left in your hair as it feels very stif and sticky when it is dried), but the results are excellent. My highlights are definately brighter and "redder" once I have used this shampoo (and that is without using the matching conditioner) and my hair is pretty sleek and shiny too. I haven't got a clue what all the igredients are however and having typed them all out, am owndering exactly what I am putting on my head in the morning. (Answers on a post card...)
When I bought the shampoo a few weeks ago, it was selling at £2.99 a bottle, and as I said, it was buy one, get one free, which makes it exceptional value for money!
One thing that isn't so great it is the smell of the shampoo, not lovely honey smell as I imagined, it smells quite chemcally, which looking at the ingredients is no great surprise!
