Firstly, I apologise for the crap title!
I already own some of the products from this range from Boots. I use them on my Beauty Course at college. I don’t like to share my good stuff, that I usually use at home, well that’s how it all started anyway.
I bought some of the products because they were cheap. Pure and Simple. I didn’t want to waste money on things that other people were going to use most of. Despite the fact they were so cheap, they were great, and now I don’t actually use the ‘good’ stuff anymore, I use this all of the time!!
I already knew that the range of products from Boots was good. In the pale green, simple packaging, it looks good. It is quite eye-catching, but in an unusual sort of way. It looks very plain, yet sophisticated. There isn’t a jumble of works or brash colours all over it, like some types of packaging. The Cucumber Cleansing Wipes come in a pale green plastic packet, and the packet contains 30 wipes. There is a peal over section on the top of the packet, which is re-sealable, this is where you pull out your wipe.
The wipes claim to remove all make-up from the face, neck and eyes, and are suitable for all skin types. The wipes can also be used to freshen up on a stick day, actually they can be used for anything, not just top remove make-up.
The product that is actually on the wipe claims to be very mild. It contains Aloe Vera and Vitamin E, the wipes are dermologically tested and are Lanolin free.
The wipes are only available from Boots, but all Boots stores that I have been in, do stock this range, so you’re pretty likely to get them if you’re looking to buy some.
Once you pull back the re-sealable lid, the strong, refreshing smell of cucumber hits you. It is very fresh and pleasant. I love the smell of cucumber. These products all come in an unscented version from Boots too, so if you don’t like the cucumber smell, you can still purchase the product. The wipe is very soft and white in colour. It’s quite thick and is a square shape. It is 19cms by 19cms. The wipes are wet and there is a lot of product on them. Boots isn’t stingy.
The wipes are easy to use, and they feel really refreshing. They clean you skin, and they do remove dirt and grim/Make-up easily. I do suggest that you use two wipes or more on your face though, as I don’t find that one is enough. I think the wipes are extremely cool and refreshing. Your skin feels refreshed and very clean after using them.
The wipes cost £2.49 for 30, which I think is a very good price. There are a lot of wipes like this on the market now which cost well over double this price. There is a 3 for 2 offer on at Boots on this range at the moment, so I paid for the 2 most expensive items that I bought from this range, and received another one for free!! This can’t be bad!
Overall, I think these wipes are great, and I definitely will keep on using them. I can’t recommend them enough. They are a bargain, and they’re really good!
