My eldest son did an experiment for homework, he came home with a little blue tablet and a note telling me he had to brush his teeth, then use the little tablet and if his teeth turned blue then this is a sign that he is not brushing his teeth correctly, he then had to record the results.

Well his teeth did turn blue in places showing were there was plaque, so therefore he was not brushing correctly, so I decided to keep a closer eye on his teeth brushing and I also bought boots disclosing tablets (the same tablet that the school had sent home) to do a check every so often.

I purchased the tablets from Boots for £1.69, they come in a small blue and silver cardboard box, there are 12 blue tablets in the box which are sealed in a foil package.

Using these tablets is easy, brush your teeth first, then put the tablet into your mouth, do not swallow the tablet after a few minutes, rinse your mouth and check your teeth, if they are blue then you need to re - brush your teeth.

The tablets are suitable for 6 years and above, however chilren should be supervised while using these tablets.

The point of these tablets is to reveal plaque, left on the teeth which I have found handy with my three kids, they have been brushing their teeth better since using these tablets, as they dont want to have the blue on their teeth. Highly recommended!!!!
