I first discovered dry shampoo in Boots and used Batiste to start off with. Not only did I love the effect that the dry shampoo had but also the scent of the dry shampoo. Since my great discovery I have experimented with other dry shampoos including this one from Boots.

It comes in a spray cannister which is primarily white with blue and green text. All of the important information is contained on the back of the cannister. The can is very easy to use and store which is a bonus. It comes with a plastic removable lid which stops any product coming out accidentally.

I tend to spray the product around 10-15cm away from my head and start with the roots and spray all the way down to the roots but I pay particular attention to the roots as these tend to be the greasiest. The shampoo comes out almost like talc especially if you have dark hair your hair will temporarily turn white or grey! This can be quite alarming but with a quick shake or ruffle of the hair the white look disappears and I am always left with non-greasy looking hair. The only bad point is that my hair looks very dull and any shine I had disappears completely which is disappointing.

To get the shampoo out of the hair I always have to wash it out as oppossed to brushing it out like I can with Batiste which can be a disadvantage if I am in a rush etc but it does come out quickly and efficiently with just one wash.

The smell is also not as pleasant as the Batiste dry shampoos but then again it isn't entirely unpleasant and the smell does not linger in the hair anyway. The cost of this was just £2.97 from Boots which is good as you do get 200ml of product which seems to last for ages! I would recommend this product but if you are looking for a product with a pleasant scent then go for Batiste!
