We did our research into a new washer dryer and trawled the high street for a precious day off. Returned home and checked online for rewviews and prices. Boots Kitchen appliances (run by DRL behind Sainburys and MFI and just about every other kitchen appliance site online) had a good price and looked reliable so ordered with them. Had a call 24hrs later to tell me that they didnt have it in stock and would I like the lesser version. No. Quite frankly, that is why I did my research and ordered what I wanted. Turns out they you dont order online at all, just arrange for a availability/delivery/payment call within 48hrs. Quite pointless really, they got really irritable when we would not accept!

Ordered almost 2 months ago now, and am truly learning that you get what you pay for in life. Yes they may be cheap, but be warned, just because the website says it's in stock, doesn't actually mean that it is.. and when they do finally get it in stock, they have a habit of losing it.. 3 times i've taken time off work to take delievry only for them to fail to deliver. So as yet no new washing machine for me..

Ordered Bosch dishwasher on the Tuesday and was promised delivery following Monday, both by Email and confirmed by telephone message. On the Thursday telephone message to say no delivery as promised and could not say when dishwasher would be delivered from the manufacturer. Advised to chose something else instead. What a shambles when I repeatedly asked if the item was in stock before I placed the order. Buyer beware of this company saying item in stock. What a pity that Boots is being brought into disrepute by such poor service.

I ordered an American fridge freezer and a Rangemaster range cooker with hood. I made a real mess of my order, (didn't measure my space properly!!)but Boots were fantastic! Helpfull friendly sales staff, uplifted items at no cost and changed my order at short notice! Brilliant service from start to finish. I was kept updated every step of the way, and nobody called me stupid!! Would definately recommend. Cooker is fantastic and I ended up with a very large Hoover fridge freezer which is a great alternative to the American one which I could not get through the door!

THE WORST RETAILER I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. Avoid at all costs. We spent nearly £2000 with Boots (actually DRL Ltd) and were deceived and insulted by them. Weeks of frustration and anger dealing with their arrogance, incompetence and ignorance of even the most basic consumer law have left us reeling with shock. Only by going to Boots HQ in Nottingham were we able to "resolve" the situation. They were so horrified by our treatment at the hands of DRL Ltd that they offered to cover our financial losses immediately. We shopped with "Boots" because we trust the brand. The idiots at DRL will damage that brand, which is a shame. We will never shop at Boots ever again. AVOID
