...heard of, I came across Boots kitchen appliances. Since I've been a loyal customer of Boots for a few years now, I thought this was a company I could trust and proceeded with my order.
The website itself is clearly set out and easy to search, and they have a really wide range of products - in my case, integrated washer dryers!
Ordering was easy: after adding the product to basket, I was given the option of having my old machine collected and recycled ... ...it was that I called Boots kitchen appliances (I looked up an alternative to their 0870 number - it's 01204 672 903 - ha!) to complain about the bad service and my disappointment and to cancel my order. I was not offered any discount, alternative, or compensation - all I got was a half hearted apology from a tired sounding call centre worker.
I will be sure to update this review since I am going to complain to them in writing and by email too. I ...

Advantages: Good communication, delivered on time as promised, prices pretty good Disadvantages: Not free delivery. Delivery company didn't all they were supposed to.
...before installation so I was happy to keep all the packaging anyway. I would say this was more of a problem with the delivery firm (Wincanton) rather than Boots though.
Overall, I was very pleased with the whole purchase and I even get Advantage Card points worth £15.12. ...

Right model, no damage, packaging removed.
I'm fully aware that the company behind Boots deliver for many others. Well it worked for us, and we got £25 worth of Advantage points into the bargain.

Advantages: None, at all, what-so-ever, not even advantage points at the moment. Disadvantages: Raised blood pressure, 2.5 working days lost with no compensation, wrong appliance
...not ever consider buying from Boots Appliances. In short, they delivered the wrong appliance, on the wrong day, with a dent - and we have had to pay extra for the privilege. It has one star in the rating as you can't give it none.
We ordered a new fridge freezer in mid July, for delivery on a Monday in Mid-August. Despite a phone call on the Thursday before and an e-mail on the Friday morning confirming the delivery on the Monday, we returned from ... ...spent the day battling with Boots to try to get them to send us a replacement ASAP - fridges and freezers being quite useful in the middle of the summer (even a British one!). The best they could do was send us a different make and model - which we had to search their website for - and it was going to cost us and extra £100. It took a further 4 phone calls with various levels of incompetent managers without an ounce of initiative between them to ...
