When I got into the later stages of my pregnancy with my first child I went on a shopping spree to my local Boot's. I went armed with lists and lists of things that books and magazines had told me that I should be buying. What a big mistake. I bought dozens of things that I really didn't need.
Amogst the many items that I bought were 2 packs of Boot's Maternity pads. The pads come in a white plastic bag that when opened becomes a drawstring bag. Each pack contains 10 pads and they cost around 99p. The bag itself has all the usual infomation you would expect to find on a product like this. The pack size, instructions for use, the company address and a message from Boot's explaining their refund and exchange policy.The pads themselves are about 8 inches long, 3 inches wide and an inch thick. There is a long thin strip of paper on the reverse side of the pads to enable them to be stuck into place. The pads are extremley absorbent but they do feel rather uncomfortable when you first wear one as they are quite bulky.
These pads are designed for use when your waters have broken or for the first few days after delivery.

Ive bought these , they dont look much bigger than the night time towels ! I hope theyre more absorbant than a brick ! lol. Shirley.x
