I don't know if you are familiar with Elizabeth Arden's 8 hour cream? This is hailed as a wonder cream by all in the beauty circles.
Well you know what, Boots Mediterranean Wonderbalm does exactly the same job for a fraction of the price!

I was originally drawn to this product by the name and packaging. It comes in a small 25 ml jar with a black screw top. The labelling looks very mediterranean and inviting.

The balm itself is of the same consistency as vaseline and is a light green colour. It does have an extremely strong smell, kind of a warmer, more pleasant version of Vic vapour rub.

The balm is full of moisturising, skin softening ingredients such as; olive oil, sweet almond oil, sage oil, avocado oil and cocoa butter. (It sounds good enough to eat!).

Wonderbalm is recommended for use on elbows, knees and heels and is soft enough for use on lips. Personally I use this wherever I am suffering from dry or rough skin. I also find it very useful on grazes or cuts, as it provides a protective barrier. Wonderbalm is incredibly moistursing and feels very nice on the skin. It also has some heallng properties in my view.

The 25 ml jar costs just over £4, and can sometimes be found cheaper within sets of Mediterranean products.

Great money saving tip this, I use a lot of aromatherapy products and this is one that falls into that catagory, works wonders. All the best Gill.

I love the smell of some of Boots Meditteranean products, they do a melon, sugar and mint scrub which is divine, I wouldn't mind a sniff of this one and it sounds like a bargain :) xxx
