... First of all there was the King of Shaves gel - all very well, but too expensive, and too much effort - I can't be bothered to spend all that time working gel into a lather! Foam or mousse, in that case, was the way forward, and when I noticed that Boots Moisture Rich Shave Mousse was not ... Read review

Advantages: soothes, shaves well, ideal for dry or sensitive skin Disadvantages: rusting on the can
...and when I noticed that Boots Moisture Rich Shave Mousse was not only cheap, at £1.99 per 200ml, but also specially formulated to soothe and moisturise dry skin, I had to buy it!
The packaging, as with most Boots own brand stuff, is pretty dull: the can is predominantly white, with a pair of naked legs covering the front (yes, I know - you all have sick minds...) and the usual blurb on the back. One of the reasons I bought this stuff was for the ... ...free, and as with all Boots products it is dermatologically tested.
So, onto the product itself...obviously you're advised to shake well before using, or the mousse will just splutter out - the can works in the same way as does a can of spray cream (just don't get the two confused!) The nozzle is very easy to press down, too easy possibly, as I've managed to spray out way too much of the stuff on more than one occasion. The mousse itself is white ...

Advantages: A good smooth shave Disadvantages: Caused irratation
I have very dry and sensitive skin and after using a few shaving mousses which hadnt been right for me i decided to purchase a new one from boots. Its called "Boots moisture rich shave mousse" and cost just £1.99 for 250ml which i thought was very cheap.
The package - It comes in a aerosol can with a plain white background and a pair of legs for the picture. The writing is not very eye catching in just a blue font.
This shave mousse contains aloe ... ...and cuts.It is lanolin free and should give a smoother shave for legs, bikini and the underarms.
It has a soapy smell to it which i really dislike and the foam is light pink.It should of course be shaken before use or it comes out runny and not like foam at all.It lathers up on the skin very well and it totally prevents any cuts(well i havent had any.)
The shave - I was very impressed that when you shave the foam off,the hair is not at all caught ...

Advantages: works better than brand names, but it's cheaper Disadvantages: they sell out too often
...when I saw this in boots for only £1.99 I thought I would give it a go.
The packaging.
Pretty standard metal can, make sure you shake it up first as you'll just get a load of air otherwise.
The aplication.
It's a mousse, so it's really foamy and and it glides on really easily.
It lathers up really well.
The smell.
There's not really much you can say about the smell, pretty non descript really.
Does it work?
Yes, I found it really helped ...

Advantages: Price, smell, very effective on my dry and rather sensitive skin Disadvantages: None
...So off I went to Boots where I came across Boots Moisture Rich Shave Mousse.
Looks: The spray can is white with a pair of bare legs on the front and the Boots logo. Under the logo Moisture Rich Shave Mousse with soothing Aloe for dry skin, and For a smoother shave and to prevent razor is written in the same deep blue as the logo. On the back is a summary of the product, how to use and the ingredients. Here's the spiel: 'Boots Moisture Rich Shaving ... ...the shops, so I went without it. Big mistake! The shave was nowhere near as close and my legs became itchy and irritated afterwards. I was not a happy bunny. I've learnt my lesson and will be off to Boots to stocl up at the weekend, while they're on B.O.G.O.F! ...
