Well, my holiday is coming up in a couple of weeks (I can not wait) and this week I was having a look around to find some nice smelling things to take with me on my holidays. I wanted a shower gel that it is not too big, as you know what its like trying to cram everything into your luggage. But I wanted something that would smell good too. The shelves in boots were filled with lots of different branded products. When I went to look on the natural collection stand, which are all products made by boots, I came across this dewberry shower scrub. It was the colour of the scrub that drew my attention to it. Its a lovely deep blue colour. The packaging is very
simple, its a clear plastic squeezy tube with a little picture of a lady being carried away by some large purple balloons.
The back of the tube is a description of the scrub. It tells you that it is made from a fruity blend of dewy woodland berries and exfoliating scrub particles which will leave your skin feeling polished, toned and refreshed.
When I got it home I couldn’t wait to use it, so as my holiday is still a few weeks away I thought I would try it out before I go. I still have enough time to go and buy some more if I like it.
I squeezed a small amount into my hand and began to smooth it over my skin. The texture of it is very gritty and grainy and it feels like it is scratching your skin to remove all of those dead cells and grime that your skin collects during the day.
Afterwards when I had rinsed it off and dried myself, my skin felt wonderfully fresh and
clean. It also left my skin feeling soft and smooth and I didn’t feel the need to moisturise at all. I could still smell the dewberry fragrance on my skin hours later. It also leaves the whole bathroom smelling of the wonderful sweet
fresh smell for a while after it has been used too.
Out of a 150ml tube of this shower gel I managed to get about 4 showers out of it, and I don’t use it sparingly, I cover myself with it, so if you used a little less then you would get about 6 or 7 uses from the tube.
As this is a
boots own brand product, it is only available to buy at boots and it costs £2.99 or you could use 299 of your boots advantage card points to pay for it.
This is a shower gel that I will certainly be using again and I will have to go out now and buy another tube for my holidays.
