Advantages: Lasts the whole day, easily blended, covers well Disadvantages: Not enough shades
I was looking for a new foundation, having gotten bored of the pricey No.7 Intelligent Color, and I happened to walk past the Natural Collection make-up section on the way to my trusty 17 and Rimmel, and decided to look at the foundations, as I recalled hearing quite good things about them!
There were loads available: green ones to even out redness, pink ones to balance out grey complexions, mattifying ones, and a few others. I settled ... ...out, but the colours were so disorganised and there was no product in any of the testers!
The shades are named stupid things like Hazy Beige and Oyster, so it's impossible to gauge which shade you are without testing first. I quickly tested one on the back of my hand that looked about right (Hazy Beige) and went to pay for it. It was just £4, so I reasoned with myself that if it was crap, I hadn't wasted too much money!

I settled on the normal Colour Base, and thought I'd test them out, but the colours were so disorganised and there was no product in any of the testers!
It comes in a rounded clear bottle with a black pump dispenser and clear plastic lid, which fits on quite securely so if you chuck it into your bag, it doesn't come off! It contains 50ml, which I think is very good for the price. It doesn't look cheap but not expensive either, just nicely in the middle. It has a sticker on it with the NC sign on it. It is quite bulky though.
The ingredients are: aqua, butylene glycol, glycerin, paraffinum liquidum, caprylic/capric triglycide, dimethicone, mica, hydrogenated coco-glycerides, cetearyl alcohol, titaniumm dioxide and cetyl alcohol. I'm only about halfway through the list here, but I'd be here all day listing the ingredients! I had a quick skim through the rest and the only ones that I know are potassium hydroxide and sillica.
Be careful not to press down too hard on the pump to get it out at first, as you'll get foundation everywhere, as I did! After that, it's easy enough, and you shouldn't really have any problems.
It looks quite thick, which was initially offputting, as I thought it would be really heavy and unnatural-looking. It doesn't seem to have any type of smell, and well, doesn't look out of the ordinary for a foundation!
It's very creamy and smooth, and covers well, but naturally so and you have no smeary marks at all. It blends in very well, and once you're done, you look naturally flawless, under any light! It is very light as well, despite the thick texture of it.
A small amount goes a long way. I only need a small blob for all of my face. This evened out my skintone perfectly, but if you have really bad blemishes, you're going to need something heavier and thicker to hide them all. It gives you a nicely natural, even finish.
I also had a spot, and this glided over it. Other foundations just clump over blemishes, but this was fine! It hid most of the redness, but didn't completely cover it, but I've yet to find a foundation that does! Foundations can also look too yellow or orange on my Chinese skin, but this blended in perfectly and looked really natural.
I have quite sensitive and dry skin, but my skin was fine and didn't itch or go blotchy at all. This didn't seem to worsen the dryness of my skin either, and kept it fairly moisturised.
After applying, I didn't think it would last very long, so dusted some powder over the top of it. I applied it at about 8am, and was still perfect when I came to wash it off at about 4-5pm that afternoon. This was with powder though, and I haven't tried the foundation by itself.
I have quite dry skin so I can't comment on it's ability to control shine, but I think it would slip off quite easily on greasy skin.
Oh yes - my friends all told me how healthy I looked! I was asked why I didn't go make-up free more often, as I have naturally good skin! Well, I fooled my beauty-obsessed mates into thinking I was going au naturel, and that's good enough for me!
It isn't water-resistant, so be careful in the rain! I tested it by putting some on my hand and putting it under the tap, and it did come off, but you're unlikely to get that heavy rain directly on your face, are you?
My only complaint is that there are only a few shades available, and the names are all stupid! Why can't all foundation be labelled Very Fair, Fair, Medium, Tan, Dark, etc? It would make life so much easier! There are no shades for darker-skinned people, which is a shame.
But even if you don't buy the one that is an exact match of your skin, you're still okay! This blends in so well that a very slight variation doesn't matter, but still be careful and test them out! These come on lighter than they look, by the way. Hazy Beige is very slightly lighter than my skin but it still blends in and looks fine.
This costs about £4 for 50ml, and is worth every single penny. It's a real shame there aren't more shades available.

...for you?)
I found Boots "Natural Collection" and noticed it had what are called "complexion enhancers". They have 3 different types (as far as im aware, these are the only varieties i have seen) one is green:- this is used to combat any redness you may have in areas of your face as the green cancells it out. this is for use UNDER foundation though otherwise you'll go round looking like Kermit the frog!!
Theres a slightly pink tinted one again for ... ...prices vary depending on which Boots store you visit for some reason?
Its excellent value for money as you dont have as much wastage as you do with a tube or a bottle, you can just use the exact amount you require.
Even after ive been on holiday or the sunbed and my skin is darker all i do is blend a small amount of fake tan (i use Coty sun shimmer matte medium, light & natural fake tan) to my cheebones and it gives me a slightly darker but perfectly ...

Advantages: Good moisturiser Disadvantages: Not good for very oily skin
'''Natural Collection - Glowing Complexion'''
**WHAT IT DOES**
It is a moisturiser lotion, which moisturises or highlights skin creating a healthy glow. It will leave skin with a light golden shimmer and helps even out skin tone leaving skin looking less blotchy, more radiant and slightly more tanned than normally.
**PACKGAGING**
The product comes in a see through tube, which clearly shows the skin coloured lotion inside. There is black writing ... ...explaining about the product. On the front has the Natural Collection logo, which to me looks like a daisy. The tube is waterproof and durable with a screw lid. The tube has a small hole at the top so small amounts will be squeezed out helping to control wastage. The only problem with this is once the product is nearly finished a lot of it can't be squeezed out through the tube and sometimes can be an effort once it starts running out.

Advantages: Non greasy, and smells divine! Disadvantages: There arent any.
...opinion on here! It's for Boots strawberry body cream, from their natural Collection. I am an easy push-over for buying things that look nice, in the hope that I won't be disappointed, I wasn't!
It comes in a see-through jar, and to me that was its' selling point! Layers of red and cream, looking more like raspberry ripple ice-cream than a body cream! It smells even nicer than it looks, if that is possible!
It is classed as a 2-phase body cream, ... ...dear old Ciao add the Boots Fresh range to the catoegories.
Then you will all be able to read about Silver Cloud Body Souffle (what a lovely word, 'souffle'!)and how it has now all but replaced my old favourite here!
So I am off to have a shower now, wash away those flu germs(I wish?) and slap on what is left of my faithful Strawberry body cream.
Thank you and watch this space!

...I bought a bottle of Boots Natural Collection foundation a few months ago, as I had next to no tan, and was looking particularly pasty. I'm also not very good at putting makeup on, so i was a bit apprehensive about this too. Firstly, I like this as its in a nice pump-action bottle, which is great to put in your handbag (unlike tubes which can get squashed and cover the contents of your bag in foundation). Also, the pump action allows you to use exactly ... ...big blob. Certainly less messy and as a result, a lot better value for your cash as there's very little wastage. The shade I bought was "fresh honey", and I had no idea whether this was right or not. I think it is now, and the surprising thing is that it's fine now, and was also fine at the start of the summer when I had no tan. so unlike other, thicker products, you don't need to buy a different shade in the winter from the summer etc. When it comes ...

...But find it I did, Boots Natural Collection Foundation.
This is the perfect product for any shade and any type of skin. Myself, I'm extremely pale but found a shade that blended in exactly to my tone (or lack of!) and best of all didn't leave a chin line. Even if you are the worst at blending to the neck, getting the right colour here you can't go wrong. The formula goes on nice and smoothly, easy to manipulate without drying out and settling where ... ...avoid oil based products. Boots Natural Collection foundation is oil free and balances out nicely even if your skin gets a bit grubby.
The bottle is pump action, so one squeeze will provide a sufficient dolop per application - no more waste or over application. And for under £4.00 this is a bargain product that just happens to be top quality too! The whole Natural Collection range at Boots is my choice for make up and body products. The standard ...

Advantages: Good value for money; does the job; behaves like any other face powder Disadvantages: It used to be cheaper!
I've worn face powder for as long as I've been wearing make-up, because I tend to look shiny if I just use foundation or tinted moisturiser as a base, and I don't really suit the shiny look. Sometimes when I'm buying cosmetics I'll go for a more expensive brand, to treat myself to a product that's perhaps a little nicer to use, or has more of a striking effect. With face powder, I don't think there's much point - it's a simple product and I haven't noticed much difference between different brands, having tried Rimmel and Boots 17.
I decided to try NaturalCollection Pressed Powder because it appeared to be the cheapest powder available in Boots, at £1.95, and I trust Boots' own products. There are three shades to choose from: warm, neutral and cool. I am not sure if I have a warm or cool colouring, so I chose neutral. I am quite pale ...
Advantages: tastes/looks great Disadvantages: easy to use too much
Naturalcollection lip balm or gloss in vanilla flavour is the nicest tasting lip stuff EVER!!! It makes your lips really soft and smooth, and gives them a nice shine. Don't put too much on though coz if you then it can make your lips look like you've got drewl all over your lips. Its really hand as well as its about the same size as 2-3 pens, so you can carry it anywhere with you. It also stops your lips from drying out in all the rubbish weather we get. It doesn't look particularly attractive in the packet, just like oil dribbleing around in a tube, but when you put it on it tastes like vanilla ice cream. And if you have a boots acrd with enough points on it you can get it for free!!!! It only costs about £3.50 so treat your- lips vanillaise them! ...
Advantages: good colour, great price Disadvantages: doesnt last
Collection. Boots is a leading pharmacy and too rightly deserves their own brand of cosmetics! They are not overly attractive to look at, each product a plain white colour, with the 'naturalcollection' logo on the front. I picked up a lipstick tester, which had a red tip on the end to symbolise it was a red shade of lipstick. Screwing it up, I found there was quite a lot of lipstick left, compared to the other shades. I was a little worried by this; did nobody like the look of it? I decided to let this pass, and swept the tip on my finger. I then rubbed this onto my lower lip (I hate using the heads of lip product testers!). It didn't look half bad! Though the lighting was dim and the mirror was a little wonky! Nonetheless I decided that this was the one I was going to buy, sticking by my favourite brand!
I've now had the chance to test this out ...
