As No7 is Boots own make, you can only purchase this through Boots stores or their website www.boots.com. I have used both ways of buying from Boots and their website is really good as well as the store.

As summertime is now here, we all like to bare our skin that little bit more, and I am no exception!! I tend to wear revealing clothes when Im going out all year round, but in the summer its nice to show your tan off all day and night!! (that’s when its not raining!!)
My engagement do was a couple of weeks ago and I decided to have a look around for a moisturiser that would make my skin look really nice for the party. As I knew I would be going on the sunbeds a couple of hours before the party, I decided that something with an Aftersun action would be the best, as it would make sure that my tan was looking gorgeous!!
This is when I came across Boots No7 shimmering aftersun. In its smart looking packaging at the two for one special shelf, I could hardly resist buying it!!!
PRODUCT So what is it exactly?? Boots No7 shimmering aftersun is an aftersun moisturising cream with gold shimmery particles in it. It claims to moisturise and soothe skin and adds a tan enhancing golden shimmer. It also contains an Anti-UV ageing Antioxidant complex. It also claims that it is a light, easily absorbed 12-hour moisturising aftersun that helps protect the skin and counteract premature skin aging caused by the sun.
PACKAGING This has to be one of the smartest aftersun products I’ve seen in the mid price range. It is a creamy colour bottle with a gold shimmer on it. The writing is red with a gold logo which is raised on the front of it. The lid is a shimmery peach colour with the No7 logo in gold which is stuck on. It looks really posh and expensive. The pump inside is gold in colour with a white top to it. This too looks really posh and expensive!! Definitely a product you want to show off by leaving it out on your bathroom shelf! The packaging is not overpowering, but not being a plain white/yellow/brown/blue like most sun products it stands out on the shelf.
PRICE This aftersun costs £8.50 for a 200ml bottle which is a bit more pricey than most aftersun lotions, but it isn’t like most aftersuns as it has the shimmery particles in it. Also, as there is a buy one get one free offer on at the moment, you could look at it like it works out at £4.25 per bottle which isn’t that bad at all!!!

DISADVANTAGES The main disadvantages of this product are that it is a little more expensive than most aftersuns and it can only be used in boots stores.
OVERALL Do I think that it was a worthwhile buy? Yes I do!! After using this in the evening before I go out, my skin feels really soft even the next day so I really recommend it. My skin has a lovely golden shimmer when I put this on, which really shows off my tan. I’d recommend this for anyone who loves to show off their tans!! Its not really suitable as a family aftersun because 1) Its more expensive and 2) Its very girly!!! So its a nice treat for yourself!!
