********Back Ground**********

A few years ago I came across the Royal Jelly range. My friend used to use the body spray and I liked the smell. We wore it out when we went clubbing, as it was better than smelling of sweat. yuk - not very attractive to the opposite sex. A few years later I came across it in Boots in the form of bath and shower Gel. I had to buy straight away, as I wanted to treat myself.
As I was showering the smell took me down memory lane - sigh.......the good old days!!!!
Even after a couple of years of not smelling this product, the fragrance hasn’t changed one bit. It still smells divine and full of moisture. So not only does this product have a lovely fragrance, it is good for your skin. As it re-hydrates your skin and moisturises deep down. I cant stop smelling it, the fragrance stays quite well too but not over powering either.

It smells light, rich and somewhat of an oriental fragrance. The Body wash is in a clear bottle with a dark blue hook, with gold writing on the front. The hook keeps it handy for usage. At the other end it has a, none drip cap. Keeps all the body wash in the bottle when you’re not using it. The colour of the Gel is a slight gold colour – just like honey.

COST- The cost of the 250ml shower Gel is £2.69, but Boots do have deals on. The last time I Bought a bottle it was buy one get one free. Also they have buy 2, third one half price on the range - Bargain!!!

*******Brief History***********

Royal Jelly as it is called is produced by worker bees and is fed to the Queen bee. It consists of about two thirds water and one third dry matter. It is the one third dry matter that works the miracle. Included in its complex structure is an antibiotic a quarter as active as penicillin (but with none of the side effects). Fed on a diet of Royal Jelly, the Queen bee lives for up to five years compared to a worker bee's life span of six weeks in the summer and a winter hibernation of just six months.

******Royal Jelly Capsules******

You can take Royal Jelly in oral capsules. This is meant to improve your health. Some of the health improvements normally experienced when taking Royal Jelly orally are increased energy, stronger nails, hair and a much more radiant complexion. Other claimed benefits are stress relief, better digestion, insomnia alleviated, fatigue alleviated. These capsules come in a pack on 20 and costs around £16.00

The nutrients include: Protein, A, C, D, E, Calcium, 8 essential amino acids, B1, B2, B3 Copper B6 Iron, B12, Phosphorous (Anti-bacterial), Biotin, Potassium
Folic Acid Silicon (Anti-inflammatory), Inositol, Sulphur.

*******Royal Jelly Hand lotion**********

The first thing you notice when you squeeze it out is the divine smell. It’s quite similar to white musk. The fragrance stays with you for quite a long time after application, but it’s not overpowering either.
As the hand lotion is water based rather than glycerine based it doesn’t leave your hands greasy, but it still does the job on moisturising them. People forget about there hands but your hands are the ones that deal with everything in life just like your face. Harsh weather puts a strain on your hands just as much any other part of your body.
A 75ml bottle goes a long way. Cost – Just 0.99 p. The lotion comes in a new style of packaging; it is now in a peach/ gold tube, with navy writing on it.

*****Royal Jelly Soap*****

The soap comes in a 100-gram bar. It's shaped 5 sided just like that of a cell on a honeycomb. The box is dark blue, edged in gold and to look at it has sheer class written all over it.
To buy this soap it costs £1.29 for a 100g bar. It sounds expensive I know but it does last quite long and definitely smells much nicer than ordinary soap.
Again this soap is like the shower Gel soft on the skin and gives moisture. As some soap’s dry out the most sensitive of skins. I would say that the soap smells muskier than any other product within Royal Jelly. You notice the difference in your skin just after a few days, nice and soft. It has been said that it reduces spots, but I couldn’t tell you off hand as I have quite good skin already. Saying this I still use this, as it keep my skin feeling soft and moisture.

*****Royal Jelly Gift Packs*******

As this range is so popular Boots do Gift Packs in Royal Jelly. They do big Gift packs near around Christmas. The packs normally include:

Mini Shower Gel 150ml
Soap
Hand Lotion 150ml
Flannel/ Scrub
Bath pearls x 6
Bath Salts
Nail Care Pack – Including Scissors, File, Nail Buffer and Hand Lotion

Gift packs cost around £5, £10 to £15 depending on what gift package you want. These are a great present for anyone. I’ve been given a few over the years, and bought a few for friends. If this sounds expensive to you, you can buy these items separately.

My only grudge is that you can only buy this in boots, I havent seen it sold in any other shop. This can be a pain if you dont live near a local boots store. Mine is about 15 mile away.

You can have a look on Boots web site on the deals; this is a quite convenient way of shopping.
