sliky skin with silkymit

Advantages really smooth skin, easy to use, no cuts possible
Disadvantages time consuming to use, maybe hard to use in some areas.
I have used Silkymit for a couple of years now and it's grown on me - just like those pesky hairs!
Silkymit hair removing glove looks more like a mitten. It appears as though it's made from a fine grade sandpaper. To use it is very simple - you just slip it over your hand and work it in circular motions across your skin. Despite the harsh look of the product, it doesn't hurt at all when you are using it. A fine powdery dust appears but this is just dead skin cells falling away. I wipe this away with a damp towel and find lovely baby soft smooth skin underneath, mostly free of hairs. [See below.] There are no blades to nick yourself on which I find a big advantage.I find that for the best results you need to follow the packet instructions carefully. This means using it on clean, dry skin 4 times in one direction then 4 times in the other. So it's not the quickest way to de-fuzz in my opinion.
However I think that as it exfoiliates your legs at the same time it could be thought of as a time saving product.
The main difficulty I have using it is manipulating the glove around the more bony areas of my leg such as the ankle area and around the knee. If I can't get the glove in close contact with the skin it can't rub the hair away. I have developed a few moves with practise to get it right! Even so, I usually have to shave away the odd stray hair around those spots.
The overall finish of my legs is so lovely and smooth in general though. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to really exfoiliate their legs as well as those who are fed up with razor burn or nicks. I wouldn't recommend it for those in a real hurry to shave.
