This is factor 50+ but that wasnt in the list of options so ignore the spf 30 i had to put!

Since noticing a few dehydration lines around my eyes recently, im becoming more and more concerned about the aging process and preventative measures i can take now!

I also care about general sun damage, especially with having fair skin, which is why i have purchased this product and usually stick to self-tan rather than risk burning.

As we know, damage is due to exposure to the UV radiation from the sun in the form of UVA and UVB. UVA is what affects the elastin in the skin and leads to wrinkles and skin ageing. It penetrates the skin more deeply than UVB (even through glass windows) UVA protection helps protect from skin aging. Remember - UVA - AGING

UVB causes sunburn, which can lead to melanoma and other types of skin cancer. UVB protection will help prevent the skin from burning and the damage that can cause skin cancer. Remember - UVB - BURNING

As i am very white, the facial sun cream i have is chosen is spf factor 50+ which is pretty much total block. It is a physical filter which bounces UV rays away from the skin. Lower factors act as chemical filters on the skin which absorb the rays so you dont take in as much.

For those who may not know, spf (sun protection factor) is the level of protection and in my case, 50 times the protection against burning.

Personally, without the offer i think you get good value considering the quality of the product and 50ml is the normal size for a face cream so theres nothing new there. Application advice given is to apply 15 minutes before sun exposure and reapply 15 minutes later and then every couple of hours. It is water resistant but it recommends to reapply after swimming. If you want a factor this high then youd probably be thinking to do this anyway just to be sure. It also says in contains 20 applications for the face but hey, i got one free so thats alot of protection!In my experience, this sun cream is excellent. You apply it and its gone and there is literally zero residue. None of this sticky skin that gets you covered in sand and you're just left feeling greasy. And therefore it doesnt block your pores. You'd swear it was like an oil free moisturiser or something. And i just apply foundation or whatever straight over the top. Its a must for those whose favourite foundation doesnt have spf but dont like the sound of traditional sun creams clogging your skin underneath or making it slide off.

The 'hint of radiance' basically comes from your skin looking glowy, fresh and moisturised. It has a soft scent, exactly like a No7 face cream if anyone has tried that range. Slightly floral but really delicately fragranced. I would even go as far as to say all skin types, as its not heavy in the slightest.

Would definitely recommend, especially with the offer on at the moment. This with my foundation on top, nothing gets in! Its just like a nice moisturiser with added peace of mind for us pasties ;)
