After years of obsessive sun-worshipping, excessive visits to the tanning shop (not cheap at all) and many trips to the chemist for sun-burn ointments and creams, I have finally realised that there is a MUCH easier way to achieve that perfect tan.
I have fair skin - that does eventually tan - but not very quickly. I had often wished for that bit of colour that would even out my skin tone and create a golden, sun-kissed glow. After seeing so many friends looking so radiant (right at the begining of the summer) I finally turned to one and said - 'How do you do it?' They whispered back - we use fake tan... Welcome to the secret world of self-tanning lotions...I don't think that you'll ever look back.
I picked Boots Soltan Medium Tanning Lotion for my first attempt. I had been warned against the 'streaking' effects of using a spray, so thought that I'd try this lotion, which moisturises dry, tired skin as it goes along. I applied my first coat in the evening, washing my hands very carefully after applying. In the morning, I looked down to find a beautiful golden tan staring back. Was it always this easy?...
Once you have applied your first coat, you can reapply until you achieve the perfect shade for you. If it's a little too dark, try the lighter shade which is available in all Boots Stores. You really will be surprised at how easy it is to achieve a stunning tan.
A reasonably sized bottle (the size of an average sun protection lotion) costs £6.99. It is a reasonable price to pay to achieve that tan you've always wanted.
I promise, you'll never look back.... (But sssshhhhh! - don't let everybody in on the secret!)

Do you put it on your face? I've just bought some tanning cream for my face, but I'm a bit apprehensive about using it. Where do you stop? At your neck? Chest?

Good review! I found this brillient product last summer and have never turned back since. I find its definatly best to build up with this product to get the achieved effect you are looking for. A little tip which works well with this product, Use a sponge to apply it and it will blend in better with your skin giving an even more natural effect. Thanx for the read :)
