Advantages Makes spots appear less frequently, long-lasting, doesn't dry out skin.

Disadvantages Scent might be off-putting for some.

Introduction

I'm quite weird with my facial cleansing routine. I always think I can find a better product for my skin, so even after I find one I like, I still try out lots of different brands and types of cleansers. One that I tried fairly recently and I am loving is the Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Foaming Facial Wash, so I decided to do a review on it and rave about how good I found it to be!
Price and Duration

It's priced at £3.49 normally, but Boots were doing a '2 for £5' deal when I bought this product so I bought 2 bottles (I'm not sure if this offer is still valid). You might think this is expensive for a cleanser but I have found that a bottle lasts me up to a month and a half, and that's with me cleansing my face with this twice a day, morning and night.
Appearance

The bottle itself is quite plain. It is a pump-action clear plastic bottle with a protective cap that holds 150ml of product. On the front of the bottle the product claims to 'deeply cleanse and refresh' and 'help keep skin clear and healthy'. We'll see!

The back of the bottle contains more information about the product. It also claims to 'cleanse your skin of dirt, oil and make-up without over-drying, fight spot-causing bacteria, help unclog pores, tone your skin and leave it feeling extra clean'. Sounds good!

The liquid is pale green in colour, which turns to a white foam when you dispense it. I can definitely pick up a tea tree scent, and in general this smells almost like a toner or astringent, which I don't mind but others may find off-putting.
Usage

It gives you instructions on how to use the product: Wet your face and dispense two amount of the foam on to your palm. Massage the foam into your face and then rinse off with warm water. For best results use every morning and evening and follow with the Shine Control Day Moisturiser or Night Treatment Gel.

I don't know about you, but I hate applying anything to my face by using just my fingers. I use a L'Oreal rubber scrublet with this product that I got as a free sample separately, but if you want to use your fingers then go ahead! I would also like to say that I don't own the Shine Control Moisturiser or Night Treatment Gel, but you can buy these from Boots for £3.49 and £2.99 respectively.

Ingredients

I'll try not to bore you with too many long chemical names but the ingredients I recognise are water, soduim laureth sulfate (a foaming agent which can occasionally cause irritation), alcohol, witch hazel, parfum and tea tree oil, plus some other chemicals I don't know of. The product contains 10% distilled witch hazel and 0.1% tea tree oil.
When I used it

I have combination skin, so I like to look for a product which will clean deep into my pores, but isn't too harsh. I dispense two pumps of the liquid onto my scrublet and notice that the pale green liquid turns into a bubby white foam! It looks like a lot of product to use in one go, but the instructions recommend two pumps so that is what I used.

The foam feels nice and refreshing when you massage it into your face.
