In my teens i suffered from mild acne and i was desperate to try pretty much anything to improve the condition of my skin and fight off the spots. I tried many different cleansers and blemish treatments with very little success and just as i was about to give up thinking there's nothing i can do about my skin i'll just have to live with it, i heard about something called 'Tea Tree'. I believe it was an article in a magazine where i read that Tea Tree reduces the redness of spots and prevents the skin from becoming greasy which also helps stop spots. As well as suffering from spots myself i also had very shiny skin so this sounded like it could be the soultion for me.
The next time i was in Boots i went searching for a cleanser that contained Tea Tree and what a pleasant surprise it was to see that Boots had their own Tea Tree & Witch Hazel face wash. It meant that it was very affordable for me to buy and i didn't have to spend a fortune as i thought i would have. But i thought with it being Boots own make will it really work that well? The first thing i noticed about the face wash was the very fresh and clean smell that it had, a very pleasant smell to be washing your face with. It also lathered incredibly well so i could properly foam wash all over my face. I can honestly say that when i'd finished cleansing, my face felt cleaner and fresher than it had with any other cleanser i've used, and i've tried many!
But most importantly it had the desired effect for my problem skin, the shiny and greasiness of my skin disappeared very quickly and after only a fortnight or so of regular use of this face wash my spotty skin was a lot better. My spots weren't as obvious and i wasn't getting half as many. What a pleasing result, i was so grateful that i'd read the article about Tea Tree oil or i'd probably never have discovered this cleanser!I would highly reccomend it if you're looking to tackle problem skin, especially if you are prone to spots. A bottle of this is about £2 in Boots.
