Advantages offers good
Disadvantages customer service
I have been a good customer for years, but since they introduced the advantage card, I have had nothing but problems. I always seem to get overcharged, or points not added.
My last experience was that I did not get one item free in a buy one get one free offer, so I decided to contact the customer service number.
I asked them if the tissues I bought were in fact on offer, and they could not tell me and suggested I ring the store I bought them from.
I rang the store and after being put through to the correct department I was told that they were, and the tills weren't registering it, and the member of staff should have put them through manually.
I was not offered an apology, but was told that if I went back in with my receipt, they would sort it out!
Every time I have a problem I have to go back, and with two small children, it is not that easy, not to mention petrol and parking costs, but through all the troubles I have had, I have never once been offered more than an apology.(The problem before this was that they wiped all my points off my boots advantage credit card by mistake, and destroyed the chip in it.)
I used to like Boots, but I'm going off them fast, and until I get a proper apology, I'm not going back.
I forgot to mention I tried to e-mail them, but the address was unrecognisable and came back!
I won't be.
