A not so tinted moisturiser!

Advantages Cheap and it is natural that's for sure lol
Disadvantages Doesn't do much
For me the thought of having a daytime lunch date this coming Wednesday is a bit of a nightmare! I'm ok getting ready to go out of an evening, out comes a little black dress, 5 inch heels (I kid you not lol) and heavy but sultry make up. Yep I'm well practised in the art of making an evening impact. However I have a picnic date which means a more casual, 'natural' look and like my Mum pointed out I don't do! For me day-times are for slumming at the gym and most days I don't even wear any cosmetics!
So off I went to the shops thinking more about transforming myself into Audrey Hepburn than into Marilyn Manson lol.I browsed in Boots and came across this range of products. Usually items cost £1.99 each but they are on offer with any 3 items at the moment costing £5.00 in total. All I wanted really was a light lipstick, some bronzing pearls, pressed powder (cos I lost mine drunk on a date last week lol) and a light blusher. However I ended up buying 5 items that I felt I needed and as the last item to make my lot up (totalling 6) I decided to opt for a tinted moisturiser.
Of late I have been finding that my usual foundation is a little heavy for daytime use and I have been experiencing spots and that's why I decided to go for a lighter option. The Packaging:
40ml clear plastic tube with flip top lid to the bottom of it situated at the bottom concealing a small hole. On the front of it I'm told it is Natural collection Tinted Moisturiser and there is a white small flower pattern on it. On the back of the tube I'm told a bit about the product, ingredients are listed, size and the recycle symbol is displayed, contact details for Boots are given and finally there is a bar-code on there. Simple packaging this is and I like the size of the product and the fact I can see the tinted moisturiser through it.A Bit About The Product According To The Back Of The Tube:
Light, sheer cover for a natural-looking finish. Contains moisturisers to leave your skin feeling supple and soft. Suitable for all skin types. Fragrance-Free. Dermatologically tested.Me Using It:
Well I couldn't wait to this because I hadn't tried out a tinted moisturiser before! I applied it as I would a foundation and to clean skin (this can be used over your normal moisturiser if you feel the need but I didn't) and away I went. I opted for the fair colour (it's also available in natural and beige colours) and I was a little concerned at first about the consistency. It is thinner than many foundations I have ever used though it isn't drippy or anything but I went easy with it and simply dotted a little around my face and then blended it gently with my fingers. It had no smell to it at all and I found this to blend really quickly and easily! No tide marks and it wasn't greasy or dry and cos the consistency isn't all that thick it simply made it really easy to be absorbed. It dried into my skin easily but for some reason I could feel a slight clamminess to my skin and thus my face felt a wee bit grimy. As well as that where were the results?
