So what exactly will the ASG-52 do for you ? Well, it could probably take off a finger or two if you're not careful with it. This really is a chainsaw on a stick.
The stick is a sturdy plastic, two section, extendable pole that extends to around 2m (7-8ft). The chainsaw is an electrically powered mini-chainsaw ... ...wire. The saw will go through tree branches with ease - I've managed up to around 8cm (3") diameter branches.
This tool is so much easier than using a manual/'pull the rope' lopper and speeds up the task of pruning a tree dramatically.
On the downside - it's possible to trap the chain in a branch if you try taking on something took big, which can result in the chain snapping (you are supplied with one spare and others can be bought). Also, partly ...
