My standard, but very good, battery drill is always with me but there are often times when you find yourself up against a wall that this just won't be able to take! The next option is to go an fetch a bigger mains powered option often with a transformer. But with this Bosch product we now have what I consider a great in between option. My usual industrial mains powered drill is always used for a large job that is going to be on going but this Bosch can be used to do the jobs that need that larger, stronger drill that aren't such a big job. This is great as rather than having to fetch the bigger heavier mains option with transformer the bosch can be fetched from the van to take on those little task where the extra power is needed.
Recently I had to Fit some Glass shelves with their brackets but the Wall in question was particulary solid and the ordinary battery drill wasn't up to it. Rather than fetch the larger Mains Powered drill with transformer etc all I had to do was get out the Bosch which was more than strong enough to deal with the wall without all the hassle.
The quick change chuck makes the tool very easy and pleasing to work with!!
