My easy to open wallet strikes again, this time in the form of a dishwasher. Although, this one was more necessary, my old one was sort of falling to bits (literally).
Look and Design
Nothing too fancy, it's a white box with an opening door and some buttons on said door, exactly what you would expect a dishwasher to look like. It's of a reasonable size, being 84.5 cm high, 60 cm wide and 60 cm deep, and easily fits into my kitchen, which is fairly average.
Function
It is very easy to use, all the buttons are pretty much self explanatory as are the program modes which are Prerinse, Quick Wash 45°C, Economy 50°C, Auto Daily 45°C-65°C and Intensive 70°C. The BoschKIV38V00 is a smart-looking fridge-freezer, if not a bit on the pricey side. I thought I'd opt for quality when I decided to replace my old fridge-freezer and I think that that is what I've got.
Firstly, one big bonus is the deep freezer drawers. A real annoying feature of most freezers is having to cram food in. The Bosch drawers are deep and their facings are secure. Another great thing about the freezer is the no-frost system which really limits ice build up and lets you slide the drawers in and out really easily. It doesn't need defrosting very often but when it does there is an automatic defrost button so minimal effort needed.
Another handy feature, if you have an awkward kitchen set-up is the fact that you can change the way the doors open. Also good for left-handers.

Introduction
Personally, the invention of the dishwasher has been one of the greatest inventions of recent times. As both myself and my wife work, we need to maximize the quality time we get together. What better way to accomplish this than to shove all the pots and pans into a dishwasher, forget about it for a couple of hours and then put them all away when dry.
