We were then told about the 'Bosch WAS' range; 24466 (1200 speed) 28466 (1400 speed) 32466 (1600 speed) ~~~What we chose~~~ We were keen to go for the WAS28466 (1400 speed) we checked out prices and went to our local showroom who were selling it for £485. We had seen it online for £445. We said we were interested and asked what their best price was; they said they could do £459 with delivery and collection of old one. (As we have a van we didn't need this option) and told him that we had found it for £445, to which he grudgingly agreed. Advantages: It comes in a pretty silver colour......
Disadvantages: Avg cycle is 2hrs, doesn't get stains out and is loud

...This Bosh washing machine is absolutely diabolical! I can hardly believe that a washing machine built in 2007 cannot get rid of general stains - blood, fruit squash, egg to name a few. Our Bosh Classixx 1200 S Express WAE 2416SGB/01 is just 3 months old. With 2 children I wash clothes, sheets, towels and so on on a daily basis, but nothing is coming up clean. We use the same washing detergent, fabric softener and stain remover that we used to use with our Hotpoint (7 years old) - the Hotpoint was simply fantastic, and the only reason that we didn't take it with us when we moved house was that it was integrated into the kitchen. I MISS my Hotpoint so much. We also have a Bosch Dishwasher (also 3 months old) and this appliance is also way below standard. Quite simply I am disgusted with Bosch, and would NEVER... Read review

...Last month my Zanussi washing machine broke down. The warranty had run out so I had to get a new machine. I didn’t really know what I wanted, but having 2 kids, I knew I needed something reliable. I checked my Which magazine and the report dated May 2001 recommended the Bosch Maxx WFL2450GB, the AEG OKO 72630 and the Samsung Sensor Quick Fuzzy SWFP1005. As the Bosch was rated the best for reliability I decided to make further enquiries about it. I checked a few electrical websites and Currys were offering the best price at £398.95. So I went to Currys to see the machine in the flesh before I made my mind up. I found the model I wanted straight away. It didn’t stand out particularly and the controls looked very basic.
