Well after 2.5 years and many breakdowns i have finally given up on my hooverwashing machine and taken delivery of a bosch maxx 1100 spin washing machine.
The machine cost me £420 from a local supplier,it is available for only £343 was the cheapest price i found via www.pricerunner.com.I decided to purchase it from a local shop due to their excellent customer service free delivery and they take away the old machine too.
The bosch maxx so called i believe due to the fact that it takes a 6kg load rather than the industry average of 5kg.
As you probably know for a while now all electrical appliances are rated for their energy efficiency from A-E A being the most efficient and E being the most wasteful.Well the bosch maxx scores A on both energy efficiency and uses very little water per load.
The wash programmes are very simple to understand and the buttons and switches are well made and not prone to falling off in your hand like on my previous hoover machine.
The machine washes very well and is also very quiet in fact i used to keep going into my garage were it is kept to check it was still working and it doesnt sound like concorde taking off when it reaches its spin cycle.
If you are looking to replace your machine in the near future you couldnt do much better than a bosch

This seems to be popular. I am trying to choose a machine. Are you still as happy with it I wonder?

Hmmm still undecided which one to go for - as you say very good but a bit pricey. Do you know if they do a "crome" finish one? My husband wants one that matches our oven!! Lol

When my Indesit finally gives up on me, I'll have a look at a Bosch. Girlie question - do they do different colours or just white?
