Advantages: Easy to clean Disadvantages: The controls - major issue!
I have never before written a product review but I feel so strongly about this product that I felt I needed to share my views. The design of the control panel on this is totally impractical in that you have to scroll round all rings to alter the temperature of one - you can't just select the ring you want and change the temperature. I had three pans on the hob together and with two reaching boiling point at same time it was impossible to get to the correct ring in time to stop the pan boiling over - in fact I resorted to moving the pan (of boiling water) off the ring! Surely this is a safety hazard. I would strongly recommend seeking an alternative to this hob - sorry Bosch! ...
Advantages: Low noise Disadvantages: Cutlery compartment is a bit inflexible and bendy
that because it bends it doesn't sit properly on the container. This isn't really a big issue but is a design flaw. Another minor issue with this container is that if you use cutlery with slightly bulky handles then you will struggle to get them through the holes in the lid. Bosch, not unreasonably have made these holes as tight as possible in order to maximise the capacity of items you can fit into the container.
The upper deck is a bit more of a free for all, there are a couple of dividers for the safe storage of wine glasses but other items on the deck can be placed anywhere making for great flexibility. We tend to use the upper deck for cups and the occasional pudding bowl.
In order to get the best results out of the dishwasher, Bosch recommend that you use salt and rinse aid with each wash. These items are simple to top up ...

Advantages: Quiet and efficient. Good bulid quality Disadvantages: None so far

As I had owned several Bosch tools and found them incredibly reliable and of good quality, I suggested we go this time for a Bosch and having owned this machine now for around 6 months, it was certainly no mistake. We purchased the Bosch ClassiXX6 1200. We got our machine from Comet, who delivered it the following day and took away our old Hoover at no extra cost.
Quiet and Powerful
I was amazed at the quietness of the machine as it went through its cycle (Noise level washing (dB): 59, noise level spinning (dB): 79). With our old Hoover machine, I had often had to increase the volume of the TV when the thing went into its spin cycle. Enough said! But this Bosch brought a smile to my face as my wife said to me, ?it?s spinning, can you hear it?? I could barely discern a faint noise as I listened carefully. I couldn?t resist but go ...
